him getting cancelled for not realizing he was getting made fun of at school is the most dumbest shit i’ve ever heard. i hate kfans so much.

I feel like if more time was waited through, and people wouldn’t discriminate against him for being mixed, Samuel would be a significantly larger name. He is crazy talented. He has worked so hard for so little. I feel like his story isn’t over though. He’s still active on social media and I don’t think he’s given up. He has a humble yet loyal fan base, and Carats have backed him up from the beginning, even though he’s no longer in the SVT line. I can see him making it outside of South Korea easily, especially in South and North America. Samuel is so much more than his mistreatment.

I came to know about samuel from the drama "SWEET REVENGE 2", It is one of my favourite dramas ever. Then i came to know that the kid with other seventeen trainees was him and his mother took the right decision at that time cause he was too young. I always wondered why samuel hasn't become a permanent and successful singer or actor yet cause he has so much talent and potential, even his youtube channel was dead, didn't know a lot was happening with him. I hope he achieves what he wants in future.

in my case...I already knew him from pd101 then as I watched the kdrama I realized it's samuel then found out about his solo....the last song of him that I heard was candy then suddenly haven't heared anything about him and that there is this issue until today.....really wish him luck with his fresh start

Personally as a carat, i have done all i could while sitting at home to support him. I know that he has what it takes and he did great in Revenge note 2 as well We,carats have backed him up from day one and till day it breaks our hearts as the world keeps on putting him on hold

The case of Samuel breaks my heart. As a long term carat I also became a garnet while watching all videos from the green basement. I hope he would make a comeback in the same time as SEVENTEEN, so they could make some content together.

I don’t think I’ve ever had more respect for an idol than I have this guy. He’s been through so much yet he stays strong and keeps pushing forward. He has so much passion for what he does and has a lot of patience although it’s been hard for him. I hope that he can debut successfully and make a big impression on the industry. I hope that he opens up about his mental health because he’s gone through the works and I hope that he can become a symbol of mental health in the industry.

His mother taking him out of pledis was a huge mistake. He should've stayed there, train a little more and maybe he could have debuted in a group or as a solist and maybe his career wouldn't have suffered like it did.

In theory that sounds good, but I’m honestly glad he’s not with Pledis. Seventeen struggled a lot in their rookie years. S.Coups would attend staff meetings, Mingyu would hand design merch, Seungkwan would be the one to book variety shows, Woozi produces most of their music and Hoshi is in charge of most the choreo. They company gave them the bare minimum and it’s because of the members’ determination to get their music out there that they became so successful. Pledis only gave them the bare minimum. Since fans already knew him, Samuel probably would’ve had a leg up in terms of recognition, but in terms of resources, he most likely would’ve suffered

I'm not sure about that. In fact, I think her mother's decision was right, it's just that they were unlucky in choosing the right agency after their left Plds. If you look at Seventeen's situation early debut, they fought and struggling very very hard to get to where they are now. And seeing that until now Plds hasn't debuted SEVENTEEN's "little brother", it was a good decision to leave the agency rather than stay and end tragically like Pristin (and NU'EST).

So important for these young people to find the right company to work with. Brave Brothers was the wrong company for him. His story is one of so many similar stories of people who didn’t make it.

Samuel is really a nice person. One time, Samuel visit my country and he visited Starbucks and one of the staff recognised him and he give his signature. Also before he left our country, he hide some piece of paper at all the place he visit and tell his fans to find them. It’s quite nice and fun actually since it’s like we played Treasure game ❤️

I believe in Samuel...CARAT WE BELIEVE IN SAMUEL KIM....he will prevail some day....these unfortunate things keeps coming his way but there is a light at the end of the tunnel

I was thinking he looked familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it since I've never seen him in music. I had to look him up and sure enough he had the second lead and was the love interests in "Revenge Note" I remember thinking he was such a cutie and good actor! he played that role perfectly. I wish he would have continued acting, but it seems like his passion has always been creating his own work. Happy to here he still hasn't given up hope just yet.

My first heartbreak was Samuel not making it into the Produce lineup… I really thought he was gonna make it since he was so so popular

Samuel was the reason I got into k-pop and kdrama, his drama sweet revenge was my first ever drama and he made such an impression on me that I never forgot him even tho I had no idea who he was at that point.

as a carat and one who really adores samuel to bits, it breaks my heart that hes struggling so much to make it in the industry despite being talented and devoted to his craft, i truly hope he gets to achieve his dreams soon, we all know how hard hes worked and will continue to work for it so he genuinely deserves it. on a side note, im really glad hes still very much in touch with his seventeen hyungs and especially when jun and minghao got to be part of the chinese program samuel was also in.

samuel could've been successful with seventeen but his mom's poor decision choices made him lose that opportunity. i've been watching seventeen tv that time when his mom said that samuel is too young to debut. it was broadcasted when he left and all other members were crying including samuel too. you can clearly see that samuel don't want to go as well. later we found out that samuel will debut first before seventeen leaving us dumbfounded. rumors says that brave entertainment promised samuel's mom that they can debut him asap if he sign through brave entertainment because when he was a pledis trainee it was still unsure if seventeen can even debut. i don't want to blame his mom and all but it's just really a waste and all the things he went through is just so heartbreaking :(

nah bc i FULLY blame his mom for this, literally why would she pull out samuel for "being too young to debut" then literally sign him off to "debut asap", that just doesnt make sense, and now look where that decision landed him? i cant imagine how hard it has to be for him to part ways with his seventeen hyungs and see them up on stage while hes struggling with lawsuits against his agency. i know it hasnt been an easy ride to success for svt either but i believe he deserved to be with ppl who can look out for him and be there with him throughout his career especially since he was still so young, and those people were his svt hyungs,,,, but,, his mom didnt have the patience to see that through, which is just heartbreaking.

Samuel has so much potential and could have been way bigger if he hadn’t been mistreated. But I have hopes for him. He can definitely try to have a Korean comeback and I hope he does. I also know he was studying Spanish and listening to more reggaeton so I think if he worked hard to explore his Latino side he can have good music in Spanish. That would be a good move for him.

I discovered him through Sweet Revenge. He was really good and had an amazing voice. The news of his father's death was so shocking, it was the most crucial point of his life with the lawsuit, him trying to make a career as idol and all the racism from both sides. I hope he can finally have a proper comeback now and people can finally support him.

All SVT members all do the hard work and from meeting with the staff (Scoups), Merch (Mingyu), Composing (Woozi), Dance and choreography (Hoshi), Variety Show (Seungkwan) and etc
