I don't know why he thought he could get the ball over Epenesa. Dude is 6'6'' and has long reach. And poor Howell, Epenesa picked him, then proceeded to stiff arm Howell and took it to the house.

Washington is definitely headed in the right direction. Remind me a lot of Josh Allen’s second year. Good defense, shaky offense. Don’t worry yet long season

I wouldn't say that is was ALL Sam Howell's Fault on those INTs. Those bills Safeties, LBs, and Corner backs are all really talented and come away with the ball VERY often. They make freakish plays on REALLY well scripted plays. Example being the Patriots and Bills wild card Micah Hyde interception. The Washington Commanders have everything they need to be an amazing playoff contender! They just have to get it right my guy! EB might not be the answer you need though.

The Bills defense is certainly amongst the best, and our o line did Sam no favors, however he absolutely cannot hold the ball as long as he does…teams will just keep blitzing him

@@Mxrtice as a Bills fan, Howell is still really young and our defense is filled with veteran players. I would be encouraged because he seems really talented, it's just about making the right decisions which is very teachable and comes from experience.

47, Christian Benford. Drafted in the 6th or 7th last year. Outplayed a 1st round draft pick to earn the starting CB role with Tre White injured last season. While he was inconsistent, he had outright all-pro days at CB early last year before going down with an injury. While you are right, Benford struggles a bit in press and man because of his smaller size, Benford is an absolute pro at Zone coverages which is what the ills have primarily run over the last 5 years. So much so that there were rumblings in the offseason that he could get moved to S if he lost the CB2 battle as heir apparent to Jordan Poyer. That didnt happen, obviously. He beat out a former 1st round pick and a far more experienced CB for the CB2 jo again this year and has very much looked the part

But I've been watching. Washington is moving up and getting better each year. I don't know who your GM is, but it all starts there.

You may want to get to know 47 then because he's no pretender, he's actually good. So good, after the Bills drafted him in the 6th round, and he out performed their expectations during the preseason, teams were contacting the front office to see if he would be on the trading block.

@@MxrticeYea Howell had zero chance to exploit that. On most given Sundays Terry would wear out Benford for fun, but when you can send only 4 all game it ain’t happening. Milano and Bernard are way too good in coverage and if you were McDermott you would make Howell beat you too.

We'll be alright. Like you said we had opportunities, but Sam made some bad mistakes. Hopefully he continues to improve and we can cut some of those rookie mistakes out. I still think we can be a good team this season. But this one def hurt.

I was there too bro we as Bills fans were Deeeeeep but in person you can see more because alot of pass plays Washington Recievers stop running the routes.

how’d we get to the redzone like 5 times and didnmt get a single touchdown when we were down by just 16 points for three quarters, the score don’t even matter we js gave up at the end with endless chances ENDLESS, there’s no excuses we played bad on offense our defense had to b tired, that 4th + 1 stop gave me more hope, smh what was going wrong it didn’t even look real, to be crushed that bad idc what team it is

@@Mxrtice Commanders will be a good team, Howell just has to learn to get rid of the ball or stop holding it so long, Allen has the same issues, but its a sign of a QB that can be a playmaker, most of his interceptions was him trying to do to much, and Bills have a top 3 defense dam near every year, but somehow they find a way to let us down when it mattered, but all in all your D held up pretty well, wasnt to many big plays other then that Gabe TD, so bad outing but plenty of lil things to be proud of.
