Sometimes a change of scenery is best for everyone. It's sad and kind of bittersweet, but it's what needed to happen. The vibes were off last season. Still respect him for his contributions in 21/22. If he could have kept his turnover rate lower last year, then maybe it would have been a different story. Maybe Draymond would have been the one leaving 🤷.

Yes, and he held that whole team down while Steph was injured. The Warriors really did him dirty by trading him to "basketball Siberia" on the East Coast. At least if he were on Hornets or something, he might be having more fun with more chances to win. He's at the Wizards which is to me only one step up from the Pistons.

Should've definitely been handled differently. They showed Poole they don't have his back and don't really care about him, so he didn't care about helping them win. Should've had a real suspension for Draymond after that. Maybe that's why Bob now works for ESPN.

Facts

I was at the game, but unfortunately missed the tribute. Heard the applause to boos were like 80% cheering to 20% booing. Wish it was 100% cheering, as he surpassed our expectations from his draft slot of late first round. He looked like a bust, worked his butt off, dominated the g league showcase in 2021 then dominated as 6th man for the warriors in their title run. The good times ended abruptly with green’s punch of Poole, and then the video getting leaked to the public. His heart definitely wasn’t in it after that. Hard to blame him. Thanks for the memories JP.

Funny, I was there, too, and I didn’t hear any booing whatsoever. If anything maybe 2% booing bc there’s always the obnoxious few, but could not have been anywhere close to 20%. There was overwhelming cheers and applause for JP and most on their feet to welcome him. When the game started and he was at the free throw line, sure, it was a different story, but that was when the game started

This help Poole mentally everyone needs something like this to spark back the light in them

I like when he smiled after watching the video

Poole look like it got him in the feels. He tried not to stay in the moment for too long. He turned around real quick lol. Can't blame him.

He hasn’t been in the league long enough to know the difference between a business move and personal move. He’s been carrying himself differently since he was traded. The GSW franchise just want to see the young smile they were so use to. Great move

That was classy! Loved it. Jordan Poole was instrumental on our run for the title, both during the season when Curry was out and on the post season.

There are ups and downs in everybody's career. His have been magnified by the circumstances and social media. But I believe he will continue to grow and improve and become the player that the Wizards are looking for. Poole was incredible during the 2022 championship run. They could not have done it without him and every other player on the team.
