Z was the start of the show as it often is. Dany was saying “Mexico City, how are you? I want to see you jumping right now! Are you ready?” Z started life as Gen Z; but Pau thought that was corny and they shortened it to Z. This song is about the struggles of Gen Z with social media. Revolutionary Kool Aid Kids is about falling for internet ideologies. Z is part of a group of songs on the same theme: XXI Century Blood, Kool-Aid Kids, Disciple, Z.

We have to give some mad respect to the lighting director. Lighting on this show has been outstanding!

Ok so I am almost 70 years old and I haven't been over the top excited about a band since I was a teenager with the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Doors, etc. Just been waiting for something new and exciting to listen to. The Warning brings that back. I saw them August 11th in Boston and it was just amazing!! I think it was the first band in ages that I knew so much about them and had listened to their whole KZread library of videos. Thank you Ashlena for your recent journey with the Warning. You are my favorite reactor to introduce the newly released videos

I saw them in August in Montreal and was surprised to see mostly older people at the show. I'm only 51, but I would guess the average age of those around me to be between 40-70, there was a lot of grey hair lol. It has been so long since I have listened to and watched videos of a groups full discography and all the special content. I cannot get enough, they are truly special.

@davidgirard6980 - Totally agree! But unlike The Beatles, Hendrix, etc., The Warning does not compose music based around blues. So I starting thinking of other bands that I followed that were similar. Cheap Trick was the first to come to mind.

Truly amazing, often when I listen to my favorite classic rock, I think to myself that I could be listening to The Warning. Anyone else have this happen?

Ugh is underrated it's so good and Z as their opener is dope. Dany's solo catches the audiences attention and sets up the show perfectly. I loved the way they brought them in one at a time so cool. Thanks for this now The full show at 11am here. Whoop

The talent of these three is mind boggling

Dany has easily become my fav non soul singer of all time. Her voice is unique, emotional, powerful etc. She can do Celine, Whitney, Adele, Heart often sitting down and without a warm up almost perfectly. She has grit and softness with the ability to hit different notes. She went from a good singer to an amazing all time singer through hard work.

They are all my favorite #1 songs and these young ladies are rock gods and goddesses bad ass best band out there if not ever

Ale has always had some moves, but they seemed mechanical. Now she struts and grooves. Love her smiles.

This is one of the songs that start the show, in the Toronto show they started with Disciple and Z was the second song.

Ugh! 😂 What can you say? The breakdown in this song is so good it is right up there in my favourite TW moments (there are far too many of them! 😂) Z just rocks! Ale’s bass line (as always) is so flippin’ great (and hair flips too!). Dany steals the show (temporarily) with her screaming guitar solo & then Pau just rips the roof off vocally at the end! 😂❤ God I love this band so much! Your reactions are making me fall in love with them all over again. Awesome stuff (on a tight schedule!) Thanks!

That screaming guitar solo would be a lot less effective -- the music would sound very thin -- if it weren't for Ale keeping pace with her note for note on the bass.

I've been commenting about Pau alot lately but Dany, She's an absolute freak of nature! The end of Z is so cool . I mean really ive commented say much about so many great things about every song I've run out of words lol ..

PAU is an ultimate Rock Star and Ultimate Drummer.....one of simply the best there is these days...all 3 girls are freaking rock stars!!!!

I missed this one until now! Can you imagine having tickets to a show and The Warning is the support band? You find your space and settle in as a diminutive Pau walks out and settles behind the kit. You think, “ah, that’s so cute.” Then she starts wailing on the drums. Next, the bass starts thumping from somewhere beyond until the statuesque Ale walks out with the confidence of a runway model. Finally, the energy level rises as Dany enters and begins to command the stage with all that passion and poise and you sit in awe and ask out loud, “who are these girls?” just before Dany hits that first note on her guitar. “Holy sh!t” is a phrase often heard when people first hear Dany, Pau and Ale play…and by the end of Z they are all in. They’ve been Warned. By the end of Evolve the band they’re opening for may be thinking, “we have to follow them?”

Z is one of my absolute favourites by them. This live Teatro Metropolitan version is even better than the live session version, which is quite a feat. It really has it all, it starts with Pau just pounding away on the drums, followed by the iconic bass line by Ale. Then Dany puts it into fifth gear with a smoking hot guitar solo, with tapping and all. Then there's Pau's YEEEAAAH, and she ends it with I THINK THAT WE SHOULD... it's amazing, nothing more, nothing less.

UGH is from QOTMS album. The song gave them so much trouble in creating it that they gave it a working title of UGH. They wanted to drop the song several times. Other songs on the album were spun off from their efforts to create it. Through it all their father kept telling them not to quit. It is different because of its transitions, tempo shifts, and it just starts off running and never stops. Z is about being Gen Z and all the challenges of growing up in the modern world. As you'll see later on, yes, it is how they begin the show.

23 and Queen of the Murder Scene are the only songs not released hitherto. Z is their show opener although this year they have used Disciple quite often. Z is a song about Gen Z - their generation. Check the lyrics later. Every Warning song needs to be listened to with their lyrics.

Three different personas onstage. Dany is the rockstar, Pau is the theatrical one, and Ale is graceful like a cat.

Shout out to the sound board and lighting people. Dany's vocal progression over the years is amazing to witness. The harmonies are sick as hell. All three are rock stars vocally and instrumentally. The complete package with humility and grace. Z is one of my favorites. Pau's look during Z was like let's get this going sis. 🤣

There is actually a hilarious video of Alé trying to teach Dany the bass line of Z. Nice to see you reacting to my favorite band, and as someone in the comments said, your are making many of us fall in love of them all over again. Good you still have maybe 14 older songs (+23) that you dont know yet, and the new ones that I think will be coming early 2024.. as Pau said in a recent interview, most next new songs are already created.. It would be cool if they give us 1or 2 surprises at Pepsi center.

Even when they F#@$ up, they don't really F#@$ up!! They released 23 today and Queen of the murder scene. Pau has some Pau cam videos of her drumming and she does this on Pau Day. There's a video of Pau drumming at the age of 10.

You heard this previously ... they played it in Toronto. Immediately after they opened with Disciple. 🤘✊✌️

IMO... Pau is the BEST drummer/singer of all time. Ale is a fantastic bass player. Dany is a great guitarist who only cares about making a trio sound like a 4 piece band and has an awesome rock star voice.
