This IS ‘Creep’. A lot of people cover this song. Most seem to do it to show off themselves. Pau (and Dany in her acoustic videos) does a cover to show off the song & more importantly, the emotion & feelings of the song. & they do it all with just a cellphone. Truly magical artists.

@@CamiVocalist Las dos canciones que canto en el evento de DECIDIDAS, black holes y show me the light que son de el primer album de ellas se escucho mucho mejor que en el album debido a que su voz ya de adulta ya con madurez le ayudo mucho a que la cancion se escuchara excelente. No se si ya hayas visto esa presentacion? Me gustaria que the Warning volvieran a grabar su primer album.

Si no es la mejor versión de Creep, ciertamente sí es la más intensa y la más emocional que he escuchado. La voz y la pasión de Pau te revuelve el alma. En resumen, es mi favorita. 🙇🏻

La voz de Paulina cuando canta baladas me destruye. He llorado con "Black Holes", con "Revenant", con "Breathe" y aunque con "23" no me identifico, me encanta cómo lo hace, sobretodo en su interpretación en el Teatro Metropolitan. Su voz es rasposa, cálida, potente, emocional, pasional y también profunda. Que una banda de tres integrantes cómo The Warning tenga a dos excelentes intérpretes, cómo lo son Pau y Daniela, ya las pone muy por encima de muchas bandas en la historia de la música y si un día de estos Alejandra se anima a desarrollar su talento vocal y decide tener aunque sea un par de canciones cómo cantante principal, eso pondría al Power Trío de Monterrey en una posición muy privilegiada en la música internacional. 👌🏻🇲🇽

@@sergiodelatejaytejeda Tengo fe en que sólo es cuestión de tiempo para que se anime. A penas va a cumplir 20 años y aunque ya tiene muchos kilómetros recorridos cómo músico, aún es muy jóven. Espero que en el siguiente álbum después de Keep Me Fed ya exista por lo menos una canción de Alejandra cantada por ella en studio. ✌🏻

Fue durante la pandemia que Pau participó en un desafío de Instagram, los fans eligieron una canción y ella tuvo unas horas (4 horas, creo) para aprenderla y tocarla. Uno de los 2 o 3 mejores covers de esta canción. (lo siento por mi pobre español)

Unlike so many singers that are performing vocal gymnastics, Pau's arrangement is all that's needed to present the emotion of the song, like all of the Warning's songs. It's deep.

Es fenomenal el talento que Pau contiene en su ser. Pero refiriéndonos al canto, Dany tambien tiene algunos videos en solitario, con piano o guitarra, en donde ella muestra su verdadera capacidad vocal y demuestra por qué ella es la principal vocalista y, para mí, la número 1 en el rock actual. Esta versión que salió por allá en el 2020, producto de un challenge, y que ella en un par de horas se encargó de tener listo demostrando sin tener que demostrar nada de lo que ella es capaz, que a día de hoy ni Paulina se lo cree, cuando le dicen la palabra profesional, ella le parece que estan hablando de otro y no de ella, esa humildad la hace aún más grande. Esta canción recuerdo que me pasó como al grupo de Radiohead, se habian cansado de tocarla porque es la canción que siempre les pedían y yo de escucharla, pero cuando escuché a Pau en este cover o challenge te juro que lloré, se me derramaron lágrimas como a un niño, sentí como si hubiese escuchado Creep por primera vez. De locos, como siempre viendo que reaccionas a mucho contenido del que espero, se que hay algunas reacciones de artistas que no conozco y no me hice el tiempo para escuchar a estos artistas nuevos para mí, pero si los has reaccionado y tu linea viene con mis gustos, seguro voy a disfrutar a estos artistas que me he retrasado en escuchar, igual descubro tantos buenos artistas que no me da el tiempo y siento que algunos de ellos ni siquiera los reaccionan y son muy buenos. Great reaction; subbed. Pau really makes an emotional connection, especially on songs like this. It's like she can just coax your soul out of your body (compared to Dany, whose vocals just reach in and grab your soul.) This and Haley Reinhart's jazz version (with Post Modern Jukebox) are my two favorite covers of this song; both better than the original.

I’m a fan of The Warning and I adore and admire Pau, and there are a lot of things to admire about this. If I’m not mistaken, she learned this song in a few hours as a challenge on social media, she’s very young, and she accompanies herself on the piano. She is very expressive at everything she does, and she gives me the impression of getting bored very fast if she can’t multitask, so she’s brilliant, there’s no doubt about it. It’s a tour de force of her great skill and musicianship, and I guess you can’t find anyone on this planet capable of doing the same thing. But the best cover version of Creep? That’s slightly over the top. It is certainly a matter of taste, but to me, it has to be Postmodern Jukebox’s version featuring Haley Reinhardt. Bear in mind that this judgement counts only for the end result, not the process or that in one case it’s a single musician performing it, and in the other case, a singer with a small band. This doesn’t take anything away from Pau’s performance, and to do her justice, she has recorded herself on a phone, while PMJ had a crew of professionals to help with the recording. Art cannot be measured with a meter, Pau is a genius and a human volcano in terms of energy, and we don’t need her rendition of Creep to tell that, her whole body of work is altogether as impressive as anyone’s could ever be at this stage of her career. And she has put a great deal of work into it as well, and she shows it also here.

Oh dear, every time I hear this my eyes start to water 😢! It’s just so beautifully done by Pau isn’t it? I also likes that she sticks to her principles and doesn’t use the ‘F’ word! There’s only one other cover that I think comes close to it is by Annalise from IMY2 (they’re from Nashville) and unsigned band. It’s worth listening to, they cover it faithfully to the original!
