This is my absolute favourite vid of Pau performing on drums. Her raw energy on th the kit is just spectacular. In one lead in she isn't playing but still bouncing around on the drumstool.

Ashlena, you have become my favorite reactor. Yep! Pau's double saddle bounce in sync with Ale's double bass slide is epic. Ale is the Queen of bass slides. As an old time bassist, her technic is perfect. And Pau has bounced right out of her saddle. Watch her head when she drums. Follow the bouncing Pau!!!

This was the track that asked for a lyric review if ever there was a Warning song that needed it. 😄 A metaphorical masterpiece Disciple's back story has relevance to Canada. Here it is This song is about how social media controls us with fabricated info. Pau got inspired about the main riff in a Canadian supermarket in 2019. She came home, composed the song on her piano including the bass intro and called her sisters. They were 19, 17 & 14 then. That is why Dany starts the song as an antagonist with "The sun is YOUR enemy today" while Pau picks it up as a disciple in the 2nd verse with "The sun is MY enemy today". The sisters trade off lead vocals as demanded by the script. You can make out the difference in their vocal textures. Ale mainly harmonizes in the lower frequencies with infrequent falsettos as required by the song. The Warning are masters in composing with minor scales. Quite often they introduce a full sequence of major chords for the same verse to break the monotony. And that downward bend in vocals here is typically The Warning with this progression G Bb E A G#m . I mean G & G#m in the same sequence - unbelievable!!! As I said before in Amour its will be hard for Pau to top this kind of profound metaphorical poetry. "More" was bit of a let down from that high intellectual standard. I await their new songs with bated breath.

This song hooked me. The sharp beats and drum rolls of Pau and Dany who made her guitar sound like a siren. The camera shot from behind Pau into the blue fog with Pau rising one drumstick is iconic. They should use it for an album cover.

The crowd does: "Ole, ole, ole, ole, Warning, ole" :) You may find them chanting this one at the concert too :) I know you gonna have fun seeing them live :) Enjoy

En fin, si este canto lo inventaron los argentinos entonces sin dudas es OLÉ ya que jamás los argentinos dirán "oe" ni en football, ni en conciertos, ni en ninguna parte. En Argentina siempre se canta OLÉ, siempre. We are all disciples of this band who have captured our hearts and imagination. Ashlena, please get to the doctor ASAP to give yourself the best chance to fully enjoy the show on Sunday. I have no doubt, you will be even more obsessed and want to follow them on their tour.

Most times they do have Vinyl at their shows but they are limited and sell out fast. Most of the songs you will see at the show will be from the Error and Queen of the Murder Scene albums. what I love most is when Ale' sings a solo line in any song like in this one she has the 2, 3, GO and in Choke she has the double line of Let Me Drown. The very lucky few get to see and hear her do lead vocals for a full song, but when she does TWA makes sure she knows it's loved and they know it's a special treat as she hates to be the lead. Keep up the great reactions.

As far as the setlist you’ll hear on Sunday, you can put Disciple down as a most definite!

I love the ones where Dany and Pau trade off lead vocals - when you get into QOTMS the song "Sinister Smiles" does that to great effect

Really hope you are feeling better by Sunday, but if not, The Warning will make you feel better for sure!

If you notice it stops on the word ignorance . That is very intentional, Pau said she wanted to emphasize that

Rudy, Mony (mom), and Luis (dad) are around at all shows and it is not at all uncommon for fans to have an opportunity to meet them and have a short conversation. They have their jobs to do and are busy, but they also are very gracious people who will stop to chat briefly if they are not in the middle of something else.

Hope you feel better soon Ash! Certainly hope you feel well enough to go to the show! As to the disbelief that they just keep getting better and better, honestly I don't understand it myself. Even their very early songs from Escape the Mind are incredible. They may not like them anymore, but we sure do! They might have been singing with younger voices, but their creativity and amazing song compositions were already very much there.

Lately, they have been opening with Disciple. The music video is fantastic. I know you don't like MVs, but this one is well worth the watch.Yeah, Pau bounces like Tigger during this song. Fun fact: TWA had a hastag that we all use from time to time that is rooted in this song. There is a line where Pau sings "Non-believeers start running." But on the studio recording when they played it back all of them thought it sounded like she was saying something incomprehensible, liked "Numberlygarfs". So if you see the hastag #Numberlygarfs you know the inside joke.

Another Great Reaction! Get Well Quick! One thing I don't think you have heard about yet is that Dany has her own DANCE! It's called The Dany Dance and she has a tutorial for it and it is only 1:25 seconds long. She did it while playing Survive in their Warning Cave and people commented on it so she did the tutorial video. The video is titled "The Dany Dance! (The Warning)"

Pau came up with this song in a Canadian grocery store. There's a video of Dany describing Pau stopping her in the middle of the aisle and dropping the whole concept of the song on her in a flurry of inspiration. Dany delivers the opening verse from the perspective of an authoritarian or revolutionary leader, and Pau's verse is a response from a 'disciple', repeating back Dany's orders like a mindless follower, It's a pretty damn cool and original idea for a song. The video is also great, if for no other reason than to see Pau strutting around in a comically large military officer's hat looking every bit the bad ass that she is.

They did a breakdown or an extension in this show during Disciple where Dany was working the crowd and you see her look back at Pau to restart the click track to finish the song because they are free playing. They generally don’t do that part if they are opening with Disciple. If they slot Z back to their opener then they may play around with Disciple but their recent headlining shows are around 17-18 songs and they seem to like to keep their shows to just a bit over an hour. It’s a packed show where they go from song to song with little break in between songs except occasionally Dany will converse with the crowd or explain the next song like ES. Be interesting to see if they keep the jar song on this leg of the tour. It seemed the crowd really liked it. I got When I’m Alone for a jar song when I saw them earlier this year and I was elated because it’s one of my favorite “older” songs from them. #Numberlygarfs P.S. the chant is a modified fútbol/soccer chant. They will also chant “outro” for the encore in respect for their Mexican heritage.

Next one to be sure to watch is Dull Knives

@@phildeval haha, probably for most but I’ve been a long-standing fan for years; I have the experience of seeing them live, until the new album is released this is my current favourite!

Music is a very personal thing, and for me, Disciple is a perfect song. Dany’s riffs, Pau’s and Ale’s rhythm section, on point lyrics, Dany and Pau trading lead vocals as influencer and disciple, everything about this song is perfection. You’re also the first reactor that I’ve seen react to Pau’s little double timing hop on her seat during the pause in the music…I love that little detail as well and so cool that they had a camera set up behind her to accentuate her drumming prowess.

They keep getting better but then when you go back to the first ones you heard you say....wait, the first one was the best. The cycle goes on. Take care and rest, we don't want you to be sick. If you miss it you won't be the only one that's crushed. And I would not be surprised if someone from the team recognizes you. Rudy's son worked the merch table as a summer job, but i don't think he'll be back for this short 10 day tour.

Your bringing me back on my warning journey again and again. They got lyrics, jams, rock looks, and passion. 10 years, and no drugs, no trash baggage that causes good bands to break up. Is it possible to have Great Rock Artists without vices? They have family support and good morals. I wonder where they can go without those lyrics full of anxt and regret.
