'Dull Knives' is part of their concept album _Queen of the Murder Scene,_ which tells of a girl going from love to obsession, murder, and madness (and more murder). Their newest stuff is 'Evolve', 'Choke', 'Animosity', and 'Disciple' for official videos, plus many fan-shot performances.

Since you seem to know nothing about these ladies here is your lesson on The Warning. The Warning is 3 sisters from Monterey, Mexico. Daniella (Dany) born Jan 30th, 2000, Paulina (Pau) born Feb 5th, 2002, and Alejandra (Ale´) born Dec 13th, 2004 grew up watching and listening to rock and rock concerts with their parents. They started in music early when Dany and Pau were enrolled in music initiation class at ages 5 and 3 respectively. When she was old enough Ale’ learned the same things. They also took classical piano lessons. When Dany was about 7 their dad bought them the video game Rock Band, and everything changed- they fell in love with rock music and performing on stage. When Dany was 8 her dad asked her if she wanted to take up another instrument (along with piano). She chose the guitar. Later Pau chose the drums and Ale´ chose the bass. Ale had only been playing bass (at 7 years old) for about a month when they, as a group, started playing and recording songs. In 2014 when they were 14, 12, and 9 years old they created a video for their grandparents to see how they had progressed in their music. The video was too big to just email so their dad loaded it on KZread. That video was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman and it went viral. To date it has well over 23 million views and has gotten praise from Metallica and many other notable bands. The girls were completely caught off guard by this and had to make a decision. They quit school and began homeschooling as they got very serious about their music. In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind. It was an exploratory group of eclectic original songs designed to sort out their style. Their Enter Sandman video was also noticed by Ellen DeGeneres, and they made their US TV debut on The Ellen Show in 2015. The girls were trying to raise money to attend the 5-week classes at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Ellen found this out and she (and Target) presented each of the girls with a $10k check to attend those classes. Because Ale´ was only 10 years old she had to get a special exemption to attend. She was in classes with 14 and 15 year old kids. Harmonix, the makers of the Rock Band video game, also noticed the girls and invited them (while in Boston) to come to tour their facilities. While there they got to preview the new soon-to-be-released Rock Band version IV and were completely floored to see that their song Free Falling (from their EP Escape the Mind) was in the game! They started their band because of the Rock Band video game so having their song in the game was amazing to them. In 2016 (at the ages of 15, 13, and 11 years old) they were invited to participate in a Ted X talk at the University of Nevada where they told their story. They played 3 great songs and wowed the crowd. They were such a hit that they were invited back in 2017 where they talked about producing and launching their first complete LP called XXI Century Blood. They played 3 original songs from that album and wowed the crowd again. In 2018 they released their 2nd album Queen of the Murder Scene- a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey thru unrequited love- from love, to infatuation, to obsession, to murder, to remorse. It is an amazing album and every song is performed with great passion. In 2019 this album was nominated for the Independent Music Awards. Their Mexican critics called them Cultural Traitors because they did not sing in Spanish/did not sing the traditional Spanish tunes. The Warning’s response was the song Narcissista. The song says, “You say you pray for us, but we don’t see much praying”, and “you don’t know us”, and “you just talk to talk”, and basically tells those critics to Kiss Off! It was purposely written/sung in Spanish to make sure those critics understood every word. You can understand why Pau sung it with so much passion! The Warning had been independent but in 2020, after 7 months of negotiations to keep much of their independence, signed with Lava/Republic records. At the time they were 20, 18, and 15 years old. Dany is an accomplished guitar player and sings lead most of the time. Pau is a world-class drummer and sings backup and lead (lead about 25% of the time). Ale´ is an amazing bass player and sings backup and lead when necessary (a bit shy about singing lead). All 3 play keyboards as needed and all 3 can jump in to cover singing lead in any song when needed. *Backstory of Dull Knives:* This video was produced in 2020 during the pandemic. It was produced for a charity livestream concert that also included Ringo Starr. This video was the first one The Warning made after they signed a 5 record deal with Lava / Republic Records. Their current released LP *Error* was their first (3rd overall plus an EP) album for their current contract. *Backstory of Enter Sandman......* They loaded videos of *Enter Sandman* & a cover of AC/DC's cover *Back in Black* on KZread for the purpose of their distant family can see the progress of the girls instead of traveling to the home in Monterrey, Mexico. While the family was on a cruise, *Enter Sandman* went viral & the rest is history.

The Warning are three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 17) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 19) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 21) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band. They had been uploading their musical journey to KZread for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and started rehearsing for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show! The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10,000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston, Ma. USA. They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album "XXI Century Blood" in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded "Queen of the Murder Scene" and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues. In June of 2019 they released a single, "Narcisista". A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever! So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid-19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lockdown was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City.This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on KZread and Facebook achieving well over 50,000 simultaneous viewers on March 25, 2020. They have since performed from The Warning Cave a couple more times including for the city of Brownsville, Tx. for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star. On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records, a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey, USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. That was posted just for family and it went viral. Dany sings lead on a majority, Pau sings lead on some. Ale will sing lead if Dany needs a break or isn't feeling well. They spent this past summer on tour opening for The Pretty Reckless and Halestorm. At one show , during the set when Dany was supposed to switch guitars, the tech took the guitar and left. Lzzy Hale came out and gifted to her a new Gibson Explorer. The reaction was priceless, and Dany only thought she got to borrow Lzzy's guitar. After the set ,Lzzy told her it was hers. I first discovered The Warning back in mid 2015 and have not missed a single day for over 7 years in which I have listened to or watched a video of these amazing young sisters. Matter of fact their cover of Enter Sandman was the first video I ever saw of them. I was so impressed I dove in head first and searched out anything I could find of them, which back then was not much….. only covers, but they were very good. In my 62 plus years of life I have never been so into a band as I am these young ladies. Not to brag, but so far I have helped fund every song they have released via their various crowd sourcing efforts. They now have over 40 published original songs on three full albums plus their first offering of originals on their EP Escape the Mind. They literally have no bad songs, every one worthy of bing a hit in its own right. I have been saying for many years now that they would one day be known world wide and be recognized as one of, if not the greatest power trio of all time. You guys have just discovered one of the best new bands on the planet. These young ladies are incredibly talented, and I really recommend that you check out alot more of their music. Pick anything you can't go wrong.

The videos were recorded in their home in The Warning Cave. They are sisters from Monterey Mexico and played piano very young and then they good Rock Band video game and fell in love with Guitar (Dany or Daniela) and drums (Pau or Paulina) and Ale (Alejandra) was initially too young but eventually picked up the bass. They have been on tour with Halestorm and Pretty Reckless and have opened for Foo Fighters (about a week before Taylor Hawkins passing) and I believe are scheduled to open for Guns & Roses. They have three albums XXI Century Blood, Queen of the Murder Scene (a concept album about obsession and murder) and their latest and first under a record label called Error. Three albums and not a bad song on any of them. React to more. My suggestions is the video for XXI Century Blood, the song Black Holes from the first album. The 2nd album is best when done in order starting with Dust to Dust (you'll love this song) and the entire album is available in live shows from Lunario CDMX or Whisky a Go Go. You should also watch their Metallica Blacklist album and their updated reimagined Enter Sandman. Finally, the new album and videos for Disciple, Evolve and Martirio. Live sessions for Z, Animosity and Choke (the official video often gets blocked for Choke and title track Error). The rest of the album has lyric videos but all great. One last note, the single Narcisista (live version) was written in response to the critics because they sang in English instead of their native Spanish. @@kevinsattler6603 you have a few years on me and I agree with you. I have the first two albums on vinyl, downloaded their EPs and stream the rest of Error, waiting for the CD and/or vinyl to be commercially available.

In this video Daniela guitar is 20, Paulina drums 18, Alejandra bass 15. They performed this song as part of the DeTour for charity event in Aug. 2020. Lzzy Hale saw their performance and said on SM she wanted to tour with these girls. They recently finished a 28 show tour with Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless, and Lilith Czar. This month they are doing a second tour with Halestorm. They opened for Foo Fighters in March 10 days prior to Taylor Hawkins death, and will be opening for Guns n Roses with Slash in October. Their present ages are Daniela guitar 22, Paulina drums 20, Alejandra bass 17.

16, 19 & 21 in “Dull Knives” Ale, on bass, played an assortment of Fender’s & Gibson’s until 14 when she played a 4-string Spector until 16, when she switched to 5-string.

Dull Knives is part of their 2nd album Queen of the Murder Scene, which is a concept album about unrequited love and young woman slipping into madness. They have over 40 original songs and recently released their 3rd album, Error. They are also incredible people and they're even better live! Keep going down the rabbit hole. You're going to love them.

These sisters are awesome. I was fortunate to be able to see them July 13th with Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless and Lilith Czar. They just had two awesome sold out shows in Mexico City. Will be fronting Guns N Roses in the near future.

Not twins, but they are all sisters from Monterrey Mexico as the others have already mentioned. Ale (Ah-Leh) is the youngest and plays Bass, Dani is the eldest and is the lead singer and guitarist. They have 3 full studio albums XXI Century Blood, Queen of the Murder Scene (which is a concept album where each track tells the ongoing story) and their latest album is Error. They also have two EP's Mayday which is six songs off the Error Album and a very early EP called Escape the Mind.

All three are amazing in their own right , but i must say that the drummer is the main song writer called Pau and she can sing lead ,on drums for example their song called Dust to dust , plus she can come off the drums and sing lead , with a guest drummer , or sing lead on keyboards ( Black holes ) , or ( Show me the light ) Dany , the lead singing guitarist is also great at singing lead on piano and Ale on bass is also great on piano ,and can sing lead (for example the songs ( Hunter and Red hands never fade ) but ultimately they are all important in the process of writing their own material , look forward to more guys , thanks !

I've seen The Warning live four times so far this year with two more coming up in a couple of weeks. Like others said, they toured this summer with Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless and are going back out with Halestorm in a couple of weeks. Also in October they are opening a show for Guns & Rose's and then opening for Three Days Grace on a tour of Canada in November

Yeah they are sisters, they are from Monterrey Mexico... and that is actually just the basement of their home (they call it The Warning Cave). In the Enter Sandman cover they were 9, 12 and 14. In Dull Knives they were 15, 18 and 20, and currently they are 17, 20 and 22. And yes, Dull Knives is an original song off of their second full Length album "Queen of the Murder Scene".

Superb reaction SueSue and Wolfman! The Villarreal sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Monterrey, Mexico. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020. They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY". The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track! The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 22, 20 and 17 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #46 original songs. I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them again before one of the 4 shows I attended on their recent North American Tour. Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans. 🗣Your take on the drummer Paulina (Pau) is correct Wolfman. You are about to get deluged by The Warning Army (TWA) who will give you the whole story of the band. They are sisters, Daniella (guitar) currently (22), Paulina (drums) 20, and Alejandra (bass) 17 from Monterrey, Mexico. They are currently signed artists on Lava/Republic/UMG and dropped their first major label album this past June, "Error". Loved the look on your faces when you were watching them - The Warning Army knows it all too well. You have no idea the treasure that you discovered! Don't mean to be dramatic but these young ladies are incredible! They have tons of content out there that you can react to and you'll never be disappointed. Writing all their own music and lyrics - just fantastic. Insanely talented musicians, super humble young women . . . haven't heard a song I don't like from them and I've never said that about any band.

They wrote the lyrics and composed the instrumentals by themselves. So cool.

In the second video the sisters are 20 (Daniela), 18 (Paulina) and 15 (Alejandra). So depending of which state or country# two of them or all of them could still be considered already adults or all of them are still underage. No matter, Alejandra was still a teenager. Even this year she's only 19.

Oh I haven't seen this basement cover in a long time! They only got better, obviously. The drummer sings alot of their material...never missing a beat. These girls are selling out pretty big venues worldwide these days! They earned their success, I'm always impressed by them. Not bad this intro from these girls, only missing the intro of The Ecstasy of Gold to this Enter Sandman song. Metallica did it several times live on stage, once even in Mexico in 1992.

Yes, they are all sisters. Dani-guitars and lead vocals is currently 22yrs old. Pau-drums, keyboards, and vocals is currently 20yrs old and Ale-bass, keyboards, and vocals is currently 17yrs old. Too much info to cover here to do them justice. Check them out and dive into their concept album Queen of the Murder Scene. IMO (At least conceptually) rivals Pink Floyd The Wall. They are from Monterrey Mexico. And they are recording in "The Warning Cave" which is their in home studio their father built for them.

Good video. Since he liked the drummer (Pau) a lot, I recommend her on Dust to Dust, live of course. She sings phenomenally.
