The Yukon Extremes Active Jacket is a big thumbs down for me. The way the waist (elastic material) is designed, when I raised my arms over head, the jacket stayed above my belt. It was just way too tight, which is kind of wild, as I have a 28" waist (size SM). The arms were about 3-4" too long when arms fully extended. I realize much of this is a fitment issue. However, it is just really odd that the waist is too tight when everything else is oversized. The shoulders/ lats area seemed way too large. Also, the front hand pockets have no zipper or velcro. Not great for storing anything you value. Construction and materials felt great. Due to the design flaws/fitment issues, I returned mine.

I cannot stress this enough… if u want the rugged look AND warmth ur better off getting an old n3 military coat than anything carhartt has ever offered. Not bad jackets by any means just that the n3 is objectively cheaper, warmer, and better than any of these or really even their old Yukon jackets
