This episode was fun as hell to record, but Berilio suffered greatly trying to edit this much audio and this many video effects at once. You'll see minor errors in the final cut throughout. I decided to ship it as is rather than continue to force Berilio to redo this for another week to get it perfect. Thank our poor editor and may he enjoy his one day of rest before he has to run it back for next week. For those interested in details: To give you a perspective, the raw audio of this took 2.5 hours to record and for half of this episode nobody could hear Jenny through our call. All the buzzer sounds had to be added in post so they wouldn't screw up the audio editing, we just had a visual buzzer in our recording session. The video editing software also almost died trying to have this many people with this many moving effects while we talked, that's ignoring all the text/popups/models etc. we show on screen.

Actually, I'll defend Eric here. Malal was only named in old Warhammer Fantasy Battles. In 40k, the 5th Chaos God (colored black and white) was only ever known as Malice. He's only ever been referred to as Malal by fans with meta knowledge of WFB.

20:53 Actually FnP was first used for Plague Marines in 4th Edition. It was also a Universal Special Rule, however the only other units in 4th that had FnP were every single Nurgle deamon. So Berilio wasn't wrong with his second guess. :D

@@rononel8046 I actually looked this up, and technically Blood Angles would be wrong (I thought it was them too). Death Company had a rule that was functionally identical to what became FNP, but it was called 'Ignore Injury' at the time.

This episode gave me a new appreciation for Jen, and it makes me cry for Eric

I've also heard a 6+ save called a "Belt Buckle" save, but that's usually in fantasy.

The Grey Knights were originally founded by 9 marines gathered together by Malcador, they kind of serve as Malcador's special force as compared to the Emperor's Custodes

As someone whose a fan of the tabletop and the lore, this episode let me know what it might feel like having the butchers nails shoved in my head.

Now, TECHNICALLY... Trazyn had admitted to purposefully not using a Doom Scythe to attack the Ork Stompa, because he wanted to collect it intact for display. Which IS a pretty egotistical reason. And that would mean Eric was correct and would have placed him in first place with 24 points.

Also, quick aside. Land did not name it after himself. Everyone else did, and land absolutely hates it

21 Primarchs guys... The Horus Heresy lore even says so, as early as Descent of Angels (I just finished reading it so now I can act like a lore sage). 2 redacted. Alpharius/Omegon are both Primarchs + the 17 others. There were 20 founding legions though. PS: this was an awesome episode.

Alpharius Omegon was one primarch at creation. Their soul split into two when they were sent through the warp, half landed back on Terra as Alpharius, half on another planet as Omegon. (Yes I'm copy-pasting this correction on every one of these comments as an Alpharius fan.)

You could also say just going off the wiki, a power flail, a power maul, the thing chaplains hold, and a null rod, but that might not count cause it might just be effectively an anti psyker lightning rod rather then a real weapon

my answers: - The chaos symbol has either 24 points - as 3 in each end of arrow, or infinity, since that is number of points inside the symbol itself. (like there is infinity of points inside any circle) - does The Angel count as 0th primarch? (21 in total) - druhkari are in denial about chaos -didn't in some version of lore, World Eaters suggested the nails, because they wanted to be more like their primarch?

I honestly thought it was when Khorne Berserkers got their own entry in 2nd or 3rd.

I understand wanting to break up the legions. But to be a realistically effective force it’d probably need to be 10,000 at minimum and really more like 100,000. I know some will think even that’s way too small, but there were only 10,000 Custodes. Yes they’re more powerful than space marines but probably we’re talking chapters, not total numbers.

That was fantastic. Great questions, better sportsmanship, incredible visual editing. The Round (Nico) Robin gag was unexpected, but welcome.
