Leave your feedback and questions! Corrections and changed information will be pinned here: At 9:18, Weavercloth is listed twice. Bismuth is part of the Ominous family. Phials weren't given an explanation. They provide profession buffs only.

What do the two nodes on the left of Thaumaturgy do? Something with Volatile transmutagen?
This looks great. As you create these guides, would you put them in a playlist we can follow after launch please?

The ability to “disenchant” mats for other things seems like a good idea to balance the auction house
@UltimateGamerCC

especially when mats lose value, they can then be turned into a profit or even better mats.
Thanks for confirming flask duration return I swapped almost everyone to alchemy for it
Great video!
Well explained, thank you.
Love this. I’d be grateful for as many of these profession overview videos you can justifiably put together. The upcoming changes are exciting, and as a returning player the pre exposure to the systems is genuinely valuable. A question I have involves the specialization mechanic that believe is coming with TWW. Would it make sense to have two toons that have the same professions but different specializations? (I.e both blacksmiths, but one specializes in weapons while the other armor.) Thank you as always. 🙏🏼

It's plausible if you want to play that way. Personally I don't enjoy splitting my attention developing basically two blacksmiths to cover multiple work orders and have opted to have a main character who does work order related stuff while the others do auction house based work (reagents, consumables). I'll have a longer answer once I cover blacksmithing and the other armor professions.

@@SoulSoBreezy heard you. I plan on rotating between 3 tank classes for the coming World Soul Saga of Expansions. Right now, I’m theorycrafting on how best to delineate the possible professions. There’s just so much information & complexity to wade through. It’s headache inducing for sure, but I’m excited for your upcoming breakdowns. I’m not a AH watcher or a market player, I lean more towards the RP & self-efficiency that professions offer. I just want the dopest items possible without having to rely on others. No real point to be made here, just want to offer a perspective that varies from the gold-making infatuation. Thank you for your time, soul. Looking forward to future conversations. 💯
Question; the chart at 9:18 lists weavercloth twice, once in white and once in green. It is also missing Bismuth. I take it Bismuth is supposed to occupy the bottom middle spot? Just curious as the distribution between these mats is helping me evaluate which gathering might be more valuable.
@SoulSoBreezy

Correct, bismuth is meant to take the place of Weavercloth.
Great video as always! A side related question since you need herbs for your alchemy. Is the main herb still super overweighted as in DF? Felt like you got 1000 main herb easier than 100 of the others.

they were bloated in DF, so now there's less to worry about.
19 yrs of being a transmutation alchemist as my main BM hunter just because I was (and still am) a huge fullmetal alchemist fan back when I started playing. Do I care for potions and flasks? Nah let's transmute all the time baby!
It's been a little while since this was posted, and the expansion is fast approaching. I checked your channel but didn't see any general videos about profession knowledge, and I haven't been able to find a lick of information about it online. Do you happen to know what sources besides the NPC crafting orders we will have? Such as, will there be more treasures, more crafting masters to find? My strategy is going to need about 45 knowledge, specifically alchemy, and I don't want to think that I have to wait for crafting orders to do it just to find out I was wrong and fell behind. Moneymaking is absolutely explosive at the start of an expansion and falls off FAST.
@SoulSoBreezy

Yeah, there're treasures around; your best bet really would be to have Handynotes installed right away and make sure it's updated. Even then I'm not so certain how long it'll take you to earn 45 KP. Treasures aside you'll be spending a lot of time blowing yourself up to do research and get past the debuff, and from observation the kinds of crafting orders available are random for everyone.

@@SoulSoBreezy Oh, right on! Sweet, will do. Thanks ^.^
I have an altarmy at around 20 Chars after remix ends. My playtime is limited so i like to mostly out that to pve progression in raids and m+ and was not planning on lvling more than 1 or 2 Chars to maxlvl. After watching your guides am i correct that lvl 70s will work as an idleing altarmy in the main city just doing weekly crafts and npc work orders for knowledge? Or do i need to lvl them, be in the open world etc? Planning on speccing one alchemist to potions and one for flasks. Rest just transmute I have all professions with racial bonuses and after that just tailoring and Alchemy.
What do the two nodes on the left of Thaumaturgy do? Something with Volatile transmutagen?
@SoulSoBreezy

They're ways to turn the transmutagen itself into more useful items. I'll never recommend using a transmute cooldown to do anything but what would help produce more gleaming transmutagen. Basically any of rare blue tranmutes will work, the example I made was the easiest to access.
I failed to find any information on whether we need some catchup to do before TWW, as a player that haven't previously done profession, do I need to be prepared to be in advantage when expansion launches?
@SoulSoBreezy
2 күн бұрын
Not really, though I do advise picking up DF professions to at least get an idea of how they'll work in TWW
Will alchemists get the ability to transmute elements again? Are the "primal elements" kind of reagents in TWW?
@SoulSoBreezy

No
Is it really possible to make anything? I have been having trouble in dragonflight with the increase in supply after the region AH. Often times the mats are more then the potion/flask I make.
@SoulSoBreezy

Alchemy and other consumable professions in DF were heavily reliant on bulk crafting - dozens, hundreds of casts to make many goods. It made the efforts at gathering your own materials for 1-2 casts feel diminished. Can't say for sure that it'll repeat itself here in TWW.
