Saw them at Melbourne Laneway festival, January 2018. About halfway through I hear this guy behind me say "I'm pretty sure we're watching the best band in the world right now". Hard to disagree.

I'm 71 (I think I'm still in my thirties, my body doesn't agree) and I'm happy to have happened on this band recently, I'm late to the game, but then it's never too late to discover something new. Glad I did.

37 here and discovered them last summer. This song specifically has become my summer song. I’m also divorced and feel constant pressure on all fronts of my life. Somehow this song reminds me of all the good in my life and how I am thriving despite everything. My ex is very petty and calculating but it is absolutely true. The best revenge is no revenge. I disappeared for a summer and rose from the ashes anew and feel 27 with the wisdom of a 47 year old. Glad you and I have that same youthful energy repute our trials and tribulations, brother 👊🏽

Simply amazing and spiritual. My son says he loves it. He passed to heaven March 13, 2020, and was an accomplished and talented guitarist. I know he loves this...he just spoke to my heart. He's smiling. I miss you son.

Wow, I'm sorry about your talented Guitarist Son's passing away. He's in Rock and Roll Heaven. My 16 year old son passed away 2 months ago....he was learning guitar....he would ask me to listen to him when he discovered a new chord or sound. From one grieving father to another....we had great sons!😢

that drummer seems to be flying. Imagine being in that crowd right now not really knowing the WOD and they hear this song for the first time ever, live. The flow, the beat, the words, the emotions then the climax at the end that erupts along with the crowd. May music keep healing my soul and my heart. I need it more than ever right now.

I just recently started getting into this amazing band. The first song I heard by them was I Don't Live Here Anymore. That led me down the rabbit hole and I'm all in now. This performance just blows me away. I didn't think they made bands like this anymore. I was so wrong and I couldn't be happier to be wrong!

People normally state that a band is 'underatted' when they've just discovered them haha. Certainly never underrated in any way . Their first album was a massive selling record .

Robbie Bennett, the keyboards/synth player, really weaves the whole thing together.

Making an old man feel young again, kicks me right in the pastries, this is what music should do to you, if God has a stereo I bet he plays this top volume too, it’s my neighbours new tune whether they like it or not, 😊

The music gods saved the best for last for me - after 61 years of rocking and rolling… watching all my era fade away and always searching for something new - the greatest band of all time falls into my lap via an Austin City Limits - War On Drugs concert. I feel reborn. Also - Charlie Hall is the greatest drummer of all time.

I am 80 tears old and like real true country, Vern Gosdin, Gene Watson ,Merle Haggard .Hank Snow [ not the modern so called country,] profound love songs, Garry More, Scorpion. Heard this band on local radio, Radio Devon the other night, they are something else way above the bands that I have heard ,most are just noise, this is class.

Agreed. This is probably the best Under the pressure version out there. You can actually see the song winning over each and everyone in that crowd as it progresses. No fanfare, just pure and utter bliss.

I'll ever forget having the privilege of seeing them in Seattle earlier this year. I wholeheartedly wasn't expecting them to play Thinking Of A Place as it wasn't in their line up, but they played the ENTIRE thing, without skipping a single verse. I've never cried so hard at a concert.. As we let out of the venue, it was dumping snow, which made it all the more magical. I love this band so much. I'm so thankful for their beautiful music.

Core memories are widely talked about for children, but I believe we receive a select handful as adults and it's the greatest gift of life. Your dad holding your mom, your baby's first steps, your partner feeling pure joy doing something they love, a butterfly landing on your shoulder etc... We only get so many. I'm thankful that one of mine is crying with hundreds of strangers to such a moving song.

I admire this drummers performance, you can't get any more than someone who throws everything he can at it.

@Under the Surface He's actually really good. Looks like Adam lost the 1 when he came in during the breakdown. Charlie was able to recover when the beat kicked in again. It's not fancy drumming, but it's always in the pocket.

Hands down, Charlie is one of the best drummers on the planet!

October 2021, didn't expected to fall down to tears after listening to this version. The last Live show I saw was in March 2020, since covid started it is the most missing thing in my life.

The last time I've seen a drummer be so locked in and smiling was when I saw the Foo Fighters at Pinkpop 2011. Simply amazing.

If you have not seen this amazing band LIVE,you have no idea what you are missing!! This was truly an EPIC performance,but they bring it night after night while on tour!!

This song is euphoric! I get tears in my eyes…. It grabs me and I’m immersed In the music. I love music and this just takes over! Hard to explain. Looking for tickets to see them don’t care what it costs… life is short…. Live it! Be good to others, love one another. Enjoy cause life is going by faster every year.

Not weird at all mate, this is as good as it gets, just think at 64 you've still got exquisite taste in music!

This is a song that means something different to every person that listens to it,the one thing we all agree on,this song is perfection!

I'm here for the baritone player. Just holding a Baritone for 14 minutes is a feat in itself ( heavy beasts), but the sustained playing is something else!

Has to be one of the best live performances and videos of all time. Not sure I’ve ever seen a band that bonded to one goal

I always think about the crazy calls i’ve been on and the memories i’ve made so far in the service! still remember flying down the road going emergent to a cardiac arrest while listening to under the pressure when the beat drops! Nothing has topped that moment

Man, this band straight up fully performs the songs. All the synths, everything. I'm endlessly impressed by TWOD. Seriously captures so much of how i feel in music form

They're releasing a live album on November 20th 2020 called ' Live Drugs' . I cant wait!

‘Under the Pressure’ was the first song I discovered from WoD many moons ago and THIS live version has just blown me away!! It’s 6am on a Saturday morning.... WHAT A START TO MY DAY!!! 🙏

I LOVE this band! Saw & heard them at Winnipeg Folk Festival in Winnipeg, Canada. What a show!!! I'm 74 yrs old and am so fortunate to have seen War On Drugs!!!

Every time I see Charlie going crazy in this song, I go crazy after him.

I keep returning to this version. It's my favorite of the many on YT. The extended bridge in the middle... There is just something so pure and damn near hypnotic about it... The long foreplay opening...The sax just gently caressing your temporal lobe... The drummer is just in the zone... Then it all kicks back in... I can't even with how much I love this

Epic. For 13 minutes and 57 seconds I was taken away from all the craziness going on in the country. Good Stuff.

I like how music unites people. You can see how the drummer's energy slowly starts flowing into the bassist, the people dancing, and eventually the whole band. You can even hear the keyboardist at 10:20 starting to do his own thing. It's really one of the only things we have that bonds us, and something that can really be started by one person; the drummer turning this into a jam session

These guys are amazing I am a lover of music. I do custom audio on video installations and peoples homes for over 50 years. I saw them in Fort Lauderdale about 2 1/2 years ago.
