Sadly Cancer don't care about what the person wants. I lost two friends due to cancer this year, one to gliobastoma (diagnosed early, stage 1back in 2015, died last month) and my other friend to osteosarcoma (diagnosed last year, she got chemotherapy, radiotherapy and got her leg amputated). Yet none of this was enough and she passed away last week. Both were 24. My one friend graduated as an engineer, my other friend had to drop out of school as the cancer got very aggressive. I hope Tom gets some alternative treatments as the conventional ones will only stop the cancer for a small period of time, and then it'll come back more aggressively.

For 1 year since diagnosis this guy is doing incredibly well. 12 months is the usual prognosis. I wish him Many more months of good quality life.

A very moving interview. He's a brave young man.

I pray every day for him since finding out about his diagnosis. I pray for Tom to be granted a miracle and live a happy, healthy long life with his beautiful family. If you watch "The Wanted Life" reality show you'd never believe this guy is the joyful one he once was. He was a firecracker, the soul of the group. This is so unfair.

@@poozer1986 if prayers work for some people, don’t make fun of it. praying is how many people deal with certain situations, as u probably have strategies to deal with certain situations yourself

@@amelieisanangel prayer has literally never worked for anyone, ever. Maybe the act of praying gives comfort, but prayer itself doesn't do anything. Yes, I do have strategies to cope, but they exist in reality, and aren't wishful thinking that achieves nothing

His positivity is really something to admire, I have no idea how he’s holding it together so well. I have the utmost respect for him. x

I meant he was holding it so well during the interview while discussing his diagnosis and a typically difficult day for him. I admired how open he was during the interview and his positive outlook.

@@moradrad4491 you don't know him, you don't know shit about him. Don't belittle his bravery. I assure you, Tom is the last person to sit around and sulk about his life. He would never say "why me?" but would have fought it with all he has got as he is currently doing. I have been The Wanted fan for a decade and this guy is not a quitter or whiner. I won't stand any ill wor thrown towards him.

My mam was diagnosed with stage 4 Glioblastoma in april this year, it's the cruelest most heartbreaking cancer..our world has been torn apart. To hear Tom talk about his battle makes me so sad, I pray for a miracle everyday

I lost my dad for lung cancer last year. I saw and got through the all things he did or worse and it has been literally soooo hard like words can’t describe it. Like I’m still in grief for the loss. I saw my dad lost his weight like Tom. I saw my dad was in much pain mentally, physically which healthy people can’t imagine. I’ve been a fan of this band since when I was a teenager and still pretty much love them. Now again have to see my favourite person battles for this shit and it really hurts me. I’m so proud of you Tom for what you achieved last night. I pray for you from bottom of my heart for overcoming this illness.

My Dad was diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma in May 2015 and he passed away in March 2017. His was operable and 98% of the tumour was removed but this cancer has tenticle like features so it couldn't all be removed. Unfortunately, it grew from what was left after the operation and he went into rapid decline within a month of him passing away. So sad! Praying for him.

You cant cure cancer, especially since its literally in his brain, just pray for him to live longer than 10

On another level i really loved hearing the wanted as they did some really awesome tunes back in the day & i generally miss that where did they go they were legends in themselves they should come back too do another tune its been so long man! :( Also sad too hear that with you your a legend & you will beat this thats it keep thinking positive. :)
