The best wallet is one you can buy.

I’ve been using this about a month and I like to fold the bills in half and place behind the card section. I can thumb through the bills easily this way and not even need to unsnap.

I knew there was a reason I liked you besides your great reviews! Buffalo has a special place in my heart. Terrific wallet and breaking in nicely.

I was asking him if he could do something like the lucas from JJ Leather Smith which is my all time favorite wallet and wow did he do a great job. I can't wait to see how this wallet compares. Right now I have 9 cards and 22 bills in my Lucas. I just wish it had the quick access card so hopefully I can fit 9 cards in the johnny wallet. Great review as always 👍🏻

one little detail that I wondered about is rough edge covered with x-stitches.. and glued seam at the bottom, probably will not last...

The edge is burnished and the glued seam is primarily held in place by the stitching. I don't even have to technically glue it down and it'll work just the same.

Where can I get those grommets from?

Good looking wallet. Not a fan of the paracord hanging off the side though. Great wallet to carry cash in.

Man this would be perfect if you didn’t have to unwrap the entire wallet to put in the cash. I would love a recommendation for a wallet that’ll last. Something that is a statement piece that can be customized and potentially passed on. 8 cards and 10 slips of cash capable. Bonus points if it is available in sage green.

It functions essentially the same as a Bigfold traditional wallet, it just has a secure closure. Other than that you would be halfing your cash, which my goal for this wallet , was to avoid.

I'm the worst wallet snob and aside from that silly paracord/aglet lanyard, that trifold design looks really smart

arent bifolds the most cash-friendly wallet type there are?

To me it looks a bit busy. I’ve been using a Duluth wallet forever and it’s much easier to access cash and cards. Cheers!

I agree. I think it is partially because of the angle of the cutouts being different from the angle of the flap. The contrast stitching draws more attention to it somehow. Nonetheless I love how innovative leather workers are getting with their wallet designs!

I think that they should stick with hand cutting, and mis-perfections might be more appreciated.

I hired an exterminator the other day and when I went to pay him with a check, he said “oh, you only have checks? No cash?” I said I don’t carry cash anymore and then he says, “Cash is king.” It just goes to show you that everyone has their priorities and that’s why there are so many different versions of wallets these days.

That’s something you should be telling the wallet maker. All I did was review it. I didn’t test anything other than American bills. I’ll try and get other currency for future vids

Narrowing the wallet like that youre bound to loose market but hey its not my loss just disapointment

as a leathercrafter..... I hate this thing. first of all.. that stich IS UGLY and weak. QA card slots are just lazy and look like shit. thhub notch is useless, Paracord/eyelet is stupid, and also useless. leather tannery unknow? once that breaks in shit is gonna start falling out. the only thing i like is the snap.
