The hair is terrible. But, when looking at it, it reminds me of Glen talking to Eugene. The scene where he asks "why the hair?" And Eugene's great response "because I like it."

I'm still not sold on Jadis being the villain entirely. I think she will ultimately end up acting as a double agent in the end. Being that her entire existence has been picking whatever side is winning.

Oh, I don't know. I took her pretty seriously in that final scene from last episode. She was intense as fuck...a mix of the great writing and brilliant acting, and the way Andy Lincoln played off her in that scene was so genius, they played off one another brilliantly, it was like a dance!

Jadis/Anne is the thread. She connects all the pieces together. Like her/hate her, she was the original Civic Republic connection all along. Trading for supplies. All the way back to the scavengers. She knows all of it. She is the survivingist survivor of them all. Think about it. No price to high ("Bloodiest hands" ) and you cannot seem to stop her. Haircut? Maybe it is a self trim, so no one can get close enough. She certainly digs Rick enough. Said as much early on. Maybe those two are the ones who live. Two installments in and I'm liking the show a lot.

The haircut could be for safety. Cutting hair makes her less likely to get grabbed in combat. Also, the crm are about concealing themselves. If jadis goes outside and meets someone from her past, they can recognize her. Changing the hair makes her less noticeable. Also, the series is just 6 episodes. Of course they’re gonna kill people off quickly. As for the change of gear, remember how the communities had different color bands. These soldiers all could be of different parts of the crm. Philly has their own uniforms and maybe Portland has their own.

also technically she should not.. as this is a womans fashion cut that is running the gauntlet TODAY.. they need all things to semi freeze in time - its like they dont use cars built after 2010.. the fashion should stop at then too.. not be wearing a band shirt from after then too.. lol the cool new watch or a modern cell ph.. stuff like that.. the haircut is the same.. its a 2023 design across the world. lol

Dont care who gets killed off as long as they don't kill Rick and Michonne. My thoughts is that after the Daryl spinoff they will have an other series with Rick and Michonne so we have a reunion with Daryl,carol and other characters and a final battle against the CRM.

Silas could turn up Now, Huck and Kublick could in the past.... I wish it were chronological...

Really hope so, they/we need another spinoff that wraps TWD Universe up.

Jadis was an odd ball on TWD before joining the main group.. when she tried to live it straight, she struggled.. so her returning to her odd ball ways seems natural to me, including the off-putting hair style choice.. hmmm, wondering if Father G is gonna make an appearance on the series 😮

Hopefully you hit 100k before TWDU ends. Also i found Jadis quite hot with the season 9 haircut now it’s awful

You got to figure being it costs $13 million an episode to make what the budget is and if it's just going to be just 6 episodes which I think will depend on the viewership if there will be a second season which I hope their will be but the way they are killing of the new characters like Nat seems rushed like the powers that be are not sure yet, it there will be a 2nd season.

I think they think they're doing something militaristic, but female for Jadis. Like a high and tight, but feminine.😅

I think the idea for Jadis. Is to put a barrier between her old life and the one life she has now. Also having really long hair. Is bad for combat.. because it gives the enemy something to grab onto

Short version, the workers on the outskirts of the city. They are subject to the same routine, everyday . So who to say they won’t find a way to counter it eventually. Who to say that some of their families weren’t? A at some point. It safe to assume they could rise up. With the Rick and Michonne there. To teach them how.

If you recall, her crib was a pretty clean shipping container. Hidden under the trash. With a chopper pad near by. Think about it. She explained a bit in World Beyond how easy it was to lead (" give them a language....") and she was trading with the CRM back then. That clip on X she mentions to Rick "the life that she has built here" is at risk if he & Michonne run. She is a master manipulator. Never underestimate her.

Perhaps the haircut is the CRM basic training haircut to make everyone feel that they are one in the same. Jadis may have just kept it as a matter of choice to avoid the hassle of maintaining longer hair. Barca's hair is similar, Isabel's hair is not much longer, it would have been interesting to see Silas's hair underneath his helmet when he was training.

5 characters survived in DD.. the Nuns were all that were introduced and all died... The majority were not crucial to the story... TOWL is 1 season so.... No need to hang around???

She's such a weird useless type of character who I personally always just tolerated every moment she's on the screen and I swear if she ends up being a bigger threat instead of General beal himself then im going to have a huge problem with this show
