I think Okafor has left a permanent impression on Rick and I think he set things in motion before his death that will continue on. If not, a lot of this episode would be a waste. I hope we get him in some flashbacks.

Agreed - if nothing else, I'm hoping his influence will be felt throughout the show. I wouldn't be surprised if his death incited turmoil within the CRM. And I *definitely* hope we at least get flashbacks with him - his actor ate up every scene he was in.

29:49 we started on 5 years then we moved up 1 year of Rick training then 12 months of that new duty and we seen it when he was writing that last letter the time moving forward with them building that place back up so it could be 7 or 8 years now

I'm fine with it if you think it'll inform our viewing of the show! All I know is that Jadis/CRM made a cameo in World Beyond but I don't know the context. We don't have any plans to watch WB right away, but we are watching TOWL so we might as well be in the know.

@@ChannelNamePending699 In TWB, the CRM elite force gases/kills the 90k people in Omaha and kills 10k people at The Campus Colony near Omaha where the show’s protagonists came from. We see in episode one of TOWL that the CRM then leaks fake news to their home at the CRP who is always in the dark of what the CRM really does out in the world. Okafor slipped up and hinted to Rick in the helicopter that they were responsible for Omaha. In TWB they said they killed those 100k people because they were too reliant on the CRP’s resources and the math showed that the CRP would be the new start for the world.

While on one hand I'm sure that would've been revealed in a later episode, on the other I'm loving the dramatic irony of that event being something that contributed to Rick's eventual acceptance of the CRM's cause, while not knowing it was a lie. @@ChannelNamePending699 De nada! 😊 I thought the same thing about the irony in the Omaha event tipping the scale for Rick. The face he made after Okafor said no more Omahas wasn’t too happy. He didn’t have time to fully process what that meant.

The budget is actually 13 million an episode!

What’s really funny, and *very* telling to me, is this guy, actually both, talking about how they didn’t see Rick and Michonne being together, and it “came out of nowhere” when they first watched the show. WHEN THEY WERE 10 YEARS OLD. A 10 YEAR OLD doesn’t know what that even looks like outside of what it looks like *in cartoons* and Disney Channel/Nick at Night TV.🤣 Then the other guy, when he finally had a girlfriend and knows a thing or two, upon watching the show again *sees* the tension in “Clear” when they start to be more trusting of each other. Anyway, I thought it was hilarious and gave me more insight into Fanboy Mentality. 😁
