Chandler is so adorable. I'm a huge Rick fan. Laurie will always be my favorite but Carol is right behind her. I'm liking Carl even more as he is growing up into a wonderful young leader.

It depends on what kind of role and what kind of contract he has - while what you're saying is true, the industry itself has also been changing - many kids actors with long-term contracts on movie franchise or TV series have it easier because the writing will form around them from being kids to teen to young adults, allowing for that transition - and for those who don't have those roles, one can also take guest starring spots in shows or movies to up/change their roles.
