But other things matter, too. Also, negan is getting older, and I think that may be showing in the show. Have you seen the part where a huge man called luther and negan were fighting? A lot happened. It's always been that way. The fans only realized it far too late. Robert Kirkman, creator of the comics that the shows are based on, said that TWD was never about the zombies. In fact, the title isn't even referring to them. It refers to the human survivors. THEY are the "walking dead". The whole zombie apocalypse was really just a backdrop.
