Carol's my fave TWD character as well.

I absolutely love this show and think that it's the best TWD has been since season 4/5 easily, however what doesn't make sense to me is why Daryl would choose staying with Isabel and Laurent over going back to Judith when he's basically been her father figure for years at this point, it is definitely a bit confusing but still a great story and finale

I think it comes down to the emotional relationship he’s developed with Laurant and Isabelle. He knows Judith is in safe hands with their friends at the Commonwealth, with plenty of reliable authority figures to look after her and RJ. However, Daryl can’t be sure Laurant and Isabelle will be safe with the Power of the Living (the bad guys) on the horizon. And again, Judith has Aaron, Ezekial, Eugene, etc. as father-figures - Laurant has a lot less. Daryl recognizes he can break the cycle of fatherlessness by staying in France.

The way the final shot of Laurant being surrounded by the dead Daryl may not have had much choice in the moment.

Damn already? I’m excited to see that TWD is continuing, I think the cinematic universe it’s trying to create has the most potential out of all of them. Really happy to see it expanding well, especially being such a big fan.

Getting to see Carol go Lone Wolf again like in season 5 is gonna be amazing.

I knew it was her in that car, but I didn’t KNOW until I see her get out of it. And then I screamed, and now I have to ensure I stay alive long enough for season 2😂

I am glad that the Melissa McBride decided to come back. I know the original plan was for it to be Daryl & Carol originally, but the actress didn't wanna be away from family for so long. Whatever happened - her coming back is awesome. Probably made for a better story in all honesty.

seeing Carol at the end of the episode made me so happy😭 i was half expecting her to have a gun up her sleeve, but that wrench was even better

I really want Carol to meet Codron first in France, potential for a great combo and he knows all about "Dixon"

Carol is one of my favourite characters but I was happy with her story ending in the safe Commonwealth. Now I'm worried that something will happen to her!

I think season 2 or “Book of Carol” will see how Daryl stayed in France. Carol will then come look for him while Daryl helps the Nest defend against Genet’s group. Carol will probably help him once she reaches France and then the finale will probably tease that they finally got a lead on Rick and he needs to come back to America and save him… I can’t wait for the biggest series yet once they all reunite and assemble the group again Daryl, Carol, Maggie, Negan, Michonne, and Rick against the CRM.

AMC yall nailed this season of Daryl Dixon and seeing Carol was the chef's kiss to end the season.

When the Daryl spin off officially ends, I'm hoping they make it so that Daryl reunites with not just Carol but literally everyone. Including Rick I mean Carol did say that he came back so it's possible, Hell even if Rick makes a short appearance in the end and the screen fades to black I'd be happy.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this new show with Daryl. It has the same feel as the original TWD series with lots of walkers and a villain with a ton of action. The show with Maggie and Negan just doesn't work for me, but i'm sure it has it's multitude of fans. I just can't get with Negan and Maggie working together after the history they've had, but hopefully it will get back to the hate they have for each other. lol That's just my take on it. But, this show with Daryl has all my juices of intrigue flowing all over it. It's what TWD should be.

It's the whole on the road survival and the focus on a small cast. All the communities, bloated cast, and focus on characters that don't matter was what did the original series in.This one kept a tight focus on Daryl, Isabel and Laurent, kind of felt like the Last of Us. The only thing I would say is what was the point of that other nun, she was just there. Oh and the worldbuilding, the muskets, the medieval weaponary, seeing iconic settings after an apocalypse. When I saw the Nest I was like, FUCK YEAH! I feel sorry for the bad guys, they are not getting into that place.

The only thing I don't understand is that some people are spoiled and say that they don't like the new spin-offs and that they are ridiculous. From where they sit, there is actually a lot of effort here. They are giving us different scenarios from the apocalypse period and I think it is going very well and surprising. If it is easy for those who give bad comments,make your own TV series
