Good eye. Trivia: The man who played Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) actually improvised that. He was originally directed to look at Sascha but he felt that Abraham wanted to take his fate, with his head held high and with dignity and that if he looked at Sascha, it would be against Abraham's character. So the peace sign he improvised and it stuck.

thejanusproject32 Yes, but turning his head to Sasha was not the main reason the actor wanted to change that. It was because of how season 6 ended from Abraham's pov shot, in which the camera was locked at Negan. Geg Nicotero (the 616 and 701 director realized that it would be a continuity error if Abraham turned his head to Sasha. That was the moment Michael Cudlitz came with his brilliant idea to Nicotero about the peace sign.

*smiling* "Aww look, Glenn's looking at Maggie-" *gets whacked* "-OH NOOO!!!"

Hands down, still the best episode ever IMO. The acting of Andrew Lincoln and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, the zombie action, the music score, and the deaths of Abe and Glenn make this an episode that will be hard to top.

As mortifying and tragic as Glen's death was Negan in front of the car lights and the smoke back drop smashing Glens head and says "I'm just getting started!" was bad ass I can't lie. It reminded me of the Joker from Dark Knight. Negan is an amazing addition to the show

kaakeli laatotus Actually Glenn disobeyed the rule sin the season 6 finale when Negan threatened to kill Maggie he flipped doubt, Negan said that if someone flipped out again someone else would die so technically if Glenn hadn't out he wouldn't be dead.

If you think Negan in any way is a rehash of the Governer or the Terminal situation then you are really seeing things in a warped way. Negan by far is a bigger threat than any previous threats. Many people are evil... but Negan doesn't hide his evil. He is straight up telling you how it is with him.

I remember, I hated Daryl soooooo fucking much after that. But now I love him again! Season 7b helped a lot.

I just cannot escape those words in my mind "Maggie I'll find you!" It was just horrible. it haunts me when I sleep and every time I watch any episode or see Glenn it fucks with me so much.

I never realized that Daryl clocked Negan so hard that he almost spun one whole revolution and face planted into the dirt LMAO.

I cried. My reaction was pretty much like yours the first time I watched it. One of the saddest and yet best episodes in my opinion. Thanks for your uploads, gives me a chance to watch the eps again :)

Glenn was my favorite in the comics and the show (well, Shane was in the show until he died). He was so selfless. What a shitty way to go for such a good person. Goodbye Glenn, we miss you, buddy.

The most brutal episode ever. Absolutely jaw dropping from the get go. Everything about it, the acting, the pain, the music, the turmoil, its just insane from the get go. I knew for months how it was going to play out. Yet it was just as shocking as it would have been, had I not known.

I'm so sorry. I know Glenn meant a lot to you. TWD is not my favorite show, but this really got me :( This may be one of the harshest, saddest death scenes I've ever seen

Unfortunately in a situation like this where anarchy is in place and survival of the fittest creeps his way in this is what happens. Rick got both of them killed trying to get out in front of a threat that he didn’t understand completely killing people in their sleep at Negan’s outposts. I’m not saying Negan was a good person in fact he was a total asshole and tyrant at that time of the show, but at the same time he was protecting what was his and his only way of knowing how to survive with all the self loathing he had. I can’t say I wouldn’t have done the same thing.
