I realize it. Don Henly loves to write music with Mike Campbell. I'm 58 and I grew up in Orange county and Tom and the Heartbreakers was the shit while I was growing up. Without Mike Campbell I don't think Tom would have had all of the hits he had.

The best guitarists don't ever say they are the best. Mike is one of the best...i'm saying it for him. Tom knew that from the moment "Johnny B Goode" was played on his Japanese guitar.

Eddie Vedder can sing anything by any artist to perfection.

I'm grateful for being able to Eddie voice image music with out his voice to me that would be a great injustice

Around the 5 minute mark, he channeled Tom. By far the best vocals part of the song.

Thank you for posting this. Thank you to Eddie for singing one of Tom’s best songs live once again, and thanks to Mike for playing the instrumental bridge to Waiting, which has always been one of the high points of my life as a music fan.

If we can't hear Tom live any more, Eddie is the next best thing.

Agreed! If Eddie wanted to do a memorial tour with the Heartbreakers that would be pretty cool. He does Tom’s vocal style as well as anyone possibly could except for Tom.

THANK YOU so much for sharing [I live (not by choice) in a horrid, BORING, 💤💤 rural hillbilly county in mid- CA ..... San Luís Obispo Co. 🤮 There are almost NO Rock concerts here. There are 3 part-time concert venues & 1 is unbelievably overpriced! Example: Ringo is coming in June. Tickets: $400 -$600! Pre COVID saw him with acceptable seats for about $100 to $150. Gotta love that POST-COVID greed! With all that being said ... I'd give anything to see Eddie Ceder in concert here in Hooterville. Hint, hint to "his ppl" who may happen to read this .....) #TomPetty #EddieVeder #SanLuisObispoSucks

I remember that one when Jackson sang it by himself at his keyboard at his home. It was during the Covid lockdown. He did such a good job with it. True skill.

Mike played with Fleetwood Mac in Sydney 2019, legend.
