Great vid, Bro.

They look great, slightly more detail than say a Mythic Legion figure and definitely more articulation. But this is an issue. The plastic is softer than ML and when you add in unnecessary feet articulation you get figures that can't STAND on their own. I gave up with mine, got frustrated. They went with non-standard peg holes on the feet so you can't use any other stands you might have like NECA ones. This line has potential but they need to address these issues.

The lacking of purple definitely matters to me : ( I pre-ordered two of this guy because the purple looked great as I intended to use them as Royal Guards for the Konclusive figure

I'm pretty sure the purple version is a different figure. This is the standard release whereas the purple armour is some sort of con exclusive.

This guy is so awesome. I can't wait till mine comes in. And I'll check the box for whatever it is in there.

Wow he looks great! Its a shame he has segmented tail and not a wire tail like the NECA gargoyles. Also wish he had a shield that you could place on his back or on his arm. Maybe this company will release a weapon pack for these in the future like shields, spears, helmets and swords. Does the armour come off? I swear I saw an old review of this lizard with no armour on.

THE BAD => The lack of purple highlights in the armor! It is just dull gun metal grey now! NOT AS SHOWN DURING THE KICKSTARTER! The lack of visible white body marks/details from under the armor! It almost seems like the ones that are there are just to small! Again NOT AS SHOWN DURING THE KICKSTARTER! THE OK / GOOD => The articulated jaw! Other companies would have probably used an other headsculpt / extra head for that! The 4 storeable weapons! It just looks great!

I feel like this armour is over designed. It's a little overwhelming looking at him. Think I'm more interested in getting the Savages without the armour

I'm still annoyed that the alternate head, shins, and forearms for the figures all come in accessory packs. Even more annoying for the kickstarter exclusive.

Very cool that you got to review the Royal Guard first. This is my favorite figure of the initial offering. I ordered 2 Royal Guards (along with others) on the Kickstarter, and from what your review shows, I'm going to want a couple more. XD I hope to buy quite a few more of all of wave one. If I hadn't just spent $300 on the Mythic Legions Mystery boxes, I would already be ordering more. the humans wave I will probably skip most of, but think I'll be all in on the fishman wave.

Why didn't you compare this figure with: Conan (Mezco or Super7) Animal Warriors of the Kingdom More Mythic Legions figures Masters of the Universe Masterverse Boss Fight Studios skeletons Dark Wof from Frazetta Girls ?

Why would we have to use a Hasbro figure in comparison? At the moment nearly everyone has Hasbro action figures. However, Hasbro is showing signs of wanting to exit the action figure market altogether. That's a shame because Hasbro, at one time, did make some nice action figures.

Great job showcasing this figure! I backed for a couple of figures and I've been really happy with all of the reviews people have been putting out. Harvinger Studios seems like they're putting out a good product!
