Hatte das Vergnügen - oder sollte ich Glück sagen? - Ari in den 1980er Jahren kennenzulernen. Er war damals noch im Aufbau begriffen. Ich habe mich sofort in seine wunderbaren Produkte verliebt und fische heute noch, in den 2020er Jahren, ausschließlich seine Rollen. Mein Liebling ist die kleine TRAUN - einfach ein unverwüstliches Uhrwerk! Ari, ich vermisse dich sehr!

Great video. I know Ari in person and know him well as I have been fishing several times with him. He is an artist, not just a fly fishing reel manufacturer. His oeuvre with so many reels is impressive!

Having bought two Ari T Hart Reels at young age of about 28 because I was so facinated about Technik and Qualität. Beging now 58 and I’m still facinated when lookong at them in the vitrine. The Salmon 2 is a very rare model and a real piece of art. The Lake Taupo I‘ve bought with two spare spools. Both models are without any signs of use only very few times used therefore practically brand new. Having no idea what they are worth today, but for sure since Ari sadly to say died very recently, they will become even more scarce to obtain. Think the buy of these reels was one of very few wise decisions l‘ve made at that time, not last because I could feel and see Ari‘s facination for his own products which are really pieces of ART, when I met him in a fishing shop in Zurich/Switzerland. I‘m getting old, because I start missing such fine gone individual Charakters like Ari T Hart, Hans Gebetsroither, Charles Ritz and many more super Anglers I was happy to met, which were more real dedicated to angling as the „famous“ advertising Fishing-icones of today. Actually I do only know one last Fisherman in Croatia who owns this giftet talent beeing an Artist of it‘s own, the very impressive and endless in a old fashiones way. talented Mladen Mercas Goranin.
