People forget that "I will always love you" was written and recorded by Dolly Parton for Porter Wagner when she was ending their long partnership to start her solo career.

Dolly Parton is still alive so it's a tribute to Whitney While some of the other artists are not with us anymore so that's why they are showing tribute to them

We never loose what they gave us it will last forever

I cant believe no one turned for the guy singing Adelle.

While they're good covers and good voices', just remember that it's a karaoke competition. The singers will never go onto infamy.

Looking over the list, it seems to be songs written by, sing by, or covered by a now dead artist rather then being songs from voice contestants who have since died (of which a number of such examples do exist). SO yes, I was a bit confused at first too but I realize now that there intent likely wasn’t intentionally misleading.

Yeah I was a little confused after Simply The Best performance I mean obviously most of the artists that sang these songs (not the contestants but the actual singers that sang these songs or did a cover of them) are no longer with us but I believe some are still alive

i've looked up quite a few people off this list and could find nothing about any of them passing. Such sick clickbait!
