I saw Journey on their first tour with Steve Perry, they opened for Boston. We knew immediately he had a special voice.

Always been a fave of mine. Others I highly recommend if you haven't already done them they are. Edge of the blade, After the fall, Lay it down, Sweet and simple, Can do, La do da, Troubled child, Dead or alive, Lady luck. All awesome songs I think you'll love. 😎🎵🎸👌

You can never go wrong with Journey! I saw them in concert 5 times in the 80's. Always 🔥! If you want a beautiful song with Steve Perry's vocals highlighted check out "Patiently" (Midnight Special clip) It was the first song Perry & Neil Schone (guitarist) wrote together when Perry first joined the band. I think it's beautiful. So many great songs!

This was one of the songs for slow dancing to with your crush at the sock hop when I was in eighth grade back when. 40 years later and the baseball fans in San Francisco sing this whenever the Giants play in the World Series. If you're curious, the first most famous song about San Francisco is "I Left My Heart In San Francisco" by the late great Tony Bennett.
