The Voice Of Our Earth

Our Universe Is Not silent
Despite space being a vacuum, it doesn't imply the absence of sound within it. Sound does exist in space, manifesting as electromagnetic vibrations.
Almost all types of astronomical objects emit radio waves, with the most potent sources being pulsars, nebulae, quasars, and galaxies.
These radio waves can be captured by a specially designed instrument known as an astronomical interferometer, capable of converting them into frequencies within the human hearing range (20 - 20,000 Hz). Probes like Voyager and Hawk-Eye are among many that record these space sounds.
Can we hear sounds on other planets/moons with any type of atmosphere? Yes, we can. Since any kind of matter can transmit sound waves, we can hear sounds on Mars, Titan, Venus, or any place with an atmosphere.
Interesting facts about Earth:
Earth is the third planet from the Sun.
Earth is about 4.54 billion years old.
There is only one natural satellite of the planet Earth - the Moon.
Earth is the only planet not named after a god.
The Earth is the densest planet in the Solar System.
-70% of the Earth’s surface is covered in water.
Earth is mostly iron, oxygen and silicon.
The Earth is not actually round in shape; in fact it is geoid. This simply means that the rounded shape has a slight bulge towards the equator.
Only 3% water of the earth is fresh, the rest 97% - salted. Of the 3%, over 2% is frozen in ice sheets and glaciers, which means that less than 1% of fresh water is found in lakes, rivers and underground.
The coldest place on Earth is in Antarctica.
The Earth is the only place in our Solar System where a Solar Eclipse can happen.
The rotation of the Earth is gradually slowing down. However it is slowing down so minimally (approximately 17 milliseconds per hundred years) that it will be about 140 million years before the Earth experiences 25 hour days.
The planet Earth weighs approximately 5,974,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 kilograms (nearly 6 septillion kg.)
Earth is the only planet in our solar system to have water in all three of its forms - Liquid, Solis and Gas.
One third of the Earth’s surface is either partially or totally desert.
The Queen of the U.K. is the legal owner of one sixth of the Earth’s land surface.
The Earth is struck by lightning 100 times per second - that’s 8.6 million times per day.

Once I figured out what you typed, I had to see what you thought no one would read. The use of the English language is not easy for some to master. I gave you a B- on that. The post didn't relate to the video. D Yes, I gave you a 'D'. What you said was not repulsive, vicious, unpleasant, insulting, or just plain mean. B+ (only people that know what a blessing is, will accept your graciousness, however intended, and may actually offend some). I'm thinking on this one . I will leave that one alone and go with my overall feeling about your post. C I replied with as many words as I could comfortably waste(I'm sorry, poor choice of words). I meant how much time I was willing to give to your inferiority complex and I'm assuming you are not aware of how the post came across to different people. Now you know how I feel. It should not be important to you as to how I, or anyone else feels if you are sincere in your convictions, I respect that. You are worthy. I'm feeling like I am neglecting things I expect to accomplish over the course of a day. I felt the desire to possibly help someone else feel better to go about the rest of the day with a bit, or even a shred, of confidence that they're as worthy as the next guy/gal. Don't let numbers like that, or the grades I gave you have influence on the person you are, or choose to be. I can tell you with a level of confidence that comes with age(not everyone, though), that is all bullshit. I say that with complete honesty and sincerity. Don't let the bastards get you down 🤗 All you need to remember is that it's all BS. Pay it no mind. Whether others like or reply, doesn't matter in the scope of things. At the end of the day, you have what you started out with. Yourself. That is who you hold accountable at the end of the day. At the end of life, someone else is going to hold you accountable. That's important to keep in mind, always. Please be kind to yourself, and then you can be kind to everyone else 😷 Don't forget to wear a mask when you venture away from home. 😷😷😷😷

It’s not just the ambience of the planet itself. It’s the oceans, too. The mountains. The deserts. The tundra. The taiga. The forests. The plains. The swamps, beaches, shores, lakes, rivers, islands, every biome on Earth’s surface is contributing to the noise that you hear. And it’s not not just that. It’s the sound of Earth breathing. The levels of weather in the Atmosphere, the tectonic plates shifting around in the crust, the gigantic Mantle churning, surrounding the molten Outer Core, and the smooth, metal ball that is Inner Core. And adding to that delightful melody is what gives the Mother Earth a voice... Life. Quadrillions of tons of seawater, every drop brimming with microscopic organisms too many to count, the countless species of fish that dwell there, the Molluscs, the Gastropods, Bivalves, Crabs, and many other species we have yet to uncover. It’s the land, every plant telling its own story, every animal who lives out it’s life, every bird, insect, reptile, amphibian, and mammal we know of is singing in the Mother Earth’s beautiful choir. And then, the cherry on top, is us. 7 Billion humans who each have their own story to tell, others who have yet to write their story. Some are happy, some are grim, some are terrifying and some are sad. Some will never write again. The voice of Humanity is that of its massive cities, planes and radio signals that make a massive bubble ~200 light years wide. They sing with the Earth, too. They add to its harmony, and the Earth wouldn’t be Earth without them... And all these individual melodies make up the most beautiful song known to man. The most beautiful because man did not compose it. It is our very planet who composes this melody, every day. Our Mother Earth.

We humans love to project ourselves on the world around us. We project human values on Animals. Here is one comment doing the same to Earth. Earth is tough. So is life on it. No matter how much humans try to destroy it, Earth will not get destroyed. Lifeforms will adapt or perish (as they have been for millions of years, human intervention or no). For once in your life, be honest with yourselves. We need not "Save Earth". We need to save Humans from Humans. We are killing off the very environment that gives us life. This is what we all want to stop. But we are unable to. And the sadness we feel from that, we project onto Earth. Earth is not sad. Don't be so vain. Earth does not need our help. Our future generations need our help. Our entire focus on stopping Global warming to 1.5-2 degrees Celsius is so that Human Civilization is not greatly impacted. Earth does not mind if raise the temperature a bit.

This sound is similar to the sound we hear during storms. The sound of waves. Frightful sound. Universe is really interesting and also gives a feel of horror. I think the emptiness of universe and amazing heavenly bodies in the universe is sufficient to increase the rate of heartbeat of any astronaut travelling in Space.

Interesting recording. How can this be a recording of sound in space when there is no sound in a vacuum. But then I researched and found this: NASA Space Sounds: what happens when spacecraft are used to record radio emissions from planetary environments, which are then converted to sound waves. Here's something you don't hear everyday. ... More specifically, it's a translation of electromagnetic vibrations from various planetary environments into sound. So I was right the 1st time because this is a translation of electromagnetic vibrations to sound. So this is not an actual recording.

@@gratismahlzeit on earth we have atmosphere so we can hear sound. For example a bird chirps and we hear it so with a recording device we can directly record that sound. In this video it is not a direct recording because there is no sound in a vacuum to directly record. What is being heard is a translation of electromagnetic impulses that are captured and then translated by computer into what we know and can understand as sound

Y'know everytime I look at the view of Earth from outerspace, I have a strange nurturing feeling that blossoms in my heart that says "protect". Like I want to embrace the Earth and never let any force ever harm it in any way and my heart sings in gratitude for it. I'm Indian. Our culture has always taught us that the Earth is the ultimate Mother to us however looking at it like this makes me feel like it is my child instead. It's strange.
