Dear Andy, I have been watching your tutorials for quite some time now. I recently got a second-hand loopstation, track 4 and 5 sliders are not turning down properly when I slide down. Did you have a problem like that or can it be fixed by cleaning thoroughly ?

It’s a stronger and cleaner sound if you use your midi as the input carrier but perfect video again thanks 🙏

Ad Fletch. How? You can only select the carrier to be tracks 1-5 ... not MIDI

@@ClaesWegener I have an Akai mk2 mini plugged in! Make the vocoder input on track 1 with the mini, then sing on channel 2 , the midi is clearer for the vocoder. Txt back if you don’t understand 🙌🏻

@@adfletch7687 so you set track 1 as the carrier, then record a note (or a melody?) with your mk2 on track 1, right?

I have the RC 202 and it also has the vocoder. I have wonder how to use it! Now how to use it with only 2 tracks? I was hoping to use it on just the one track.

Maybe you can use a plop cap....for the B, P's!

You need a loop on the RC to act as the target track. Then you can use vocoder as an input fx.

Hi since there's two row of abc knob left and right, is that each time you press only can assigned to one track for prerecorded and all track for performance despite one track is edited

So the left a,b,c knobs are for input effects and the right for track effects. You can only apply track fx to all affected tracks at once.. I'm not sure I understand your question...

how do you get multiple input effects and track effects channels at once? whenever i try to use multiple they replace the previous one.

It's a setting you need to enable ;)

“It will sound like this” Then you instantly change what’s playing and instantly start talking over the sound you just asked us to listen to… like… I have no clue what it sounds like during that part of your video because you didn’t let us listen. At&t created the vocoder to compress speech for transmission over crappy copper lines. It was not for artificial speech.

I know it is so common, but it is as wrong and annoying as it is common to speak and hushshshshl and plopp directly into the mic. Put a little bit to the side or below of your mouth and then it is much nicer listening to you. And then it will be more pleasent to listen to your great tips and tricks.
