I'm here for the cold weather but I don't like the early nights.

My husband always casually chimes in about your videos as he passes by. Today it was: Wow, he is getting so big! Is he eating regular food yet? What is attracting the woodpecker to the window? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Liam has the biggest blue gorgeous eyes. What a cutie he is. I love these cozy videos.

Little tip for avocado toast…mash in a bowl first with about a teaspoon/tablespoon of olive oil, salt and pepper and squeeze half a lime or 1/2 teaspoon of lime juice. I added cherry tomatoes as well and it’s amazing 🤩

I'd have to agree that September through Decenvber is the most magical time of year. I decorated the inside of my house yesterday with Halloween decorations. I'll wait till October to decorate the outside. Even though it's 90 outside.. it looks and feels like fall on the inside

My family & I were affected by hurricane Michael in 2018. We lost everything & started over in a new state. Very blessed to have had insurance & the ability to evacuate the night before. I still feel so bad for my friends/colleagues & the people of PC that also lost everything that they know, but didn’t have the ability to start over right away. Our entire town was affected severely. Glad you & your family were safe. 🤍

I live 1 minute from the gulf of Mexico. The eye of Katrina hit an hour from my house ...every house is our family..grandmothers, aunt, parents all were flooded. Many were left with just a slab and steps. We actually left at the last minute for katrina..its so hard to find a place to go and hard to decide when to go

The two cabinets on either side of the fireplace are not in proportion to that wall or the room. Consider eliminating altogether of removing the top shelving on either side for a look you will be happier with.

It is the same way with tornadoes. You think it will hit you but then it shifts and you are thankful but do not want it to go toward any one else. Mother Nature is unpredictable. But thankful that it was not worse. I am trying to decorate for fall as well. I absolutely love Autumn. I come alive during this season.

I would definitely turn off the gas. It is super easy! I've already got Fall decor up, too!

I'm with you Mindy, I'm so ready for Fall weather and all the Fall vibes in my house. I live in Minnesota and by now the weather usually drops a bit especially at night and early mornings but these past weeks and weeks ahead is still scorching hot. Yesterday it was 102° and today will be the same! Hopefully by October it will be a little cooler. You did great on the bookshelf! 😊

I was in the mood to decorate until the weather in Indiana went back to the 90s 😂

Oh, that's why Liam wasn't featured in a lot of Minx's vlogs for the last two weeks. He will grab the camera and will get frustrated if Mindy takes it. I get it. But glad to see more Liam.

Ever since Ian I look at hurricanes a lot different. Born an raised here an we lost everything from Ian our home completely flooded an we aren’t even on the water. We were home with our kids an dog still there are not words for what we experienced. Really anything is possible an they normally do shift so all you can do is be prepared. It was so hard getting ready for this last storm since it was the first one since Ian an we definitely felt the same way an always have when a storm misses you but even more so now we know the true impacts these storms leave behind. The trauma and financial burden are things that can completely change your life. And seems like these category 4-5 storms are becoming more normal.

Have y’all given any thought to adding a mantle to the fireplace? We ordered one on Amazon and love it

Goodmorning liam is a handsome little boy

Just an idea for your fireplace I'm not sure if someone has thrown this at you or if you've thought of it, I have a large gas fireplace as well and I purchased an electric insert it's literally just an electric fireplace and I put it inside where you would normally have your fire and it looks and works beautifully and does not get hot like a real flame fireplace wood so it's a lot safer for babies

I'm always proud of doing that kind of stuff instead of asking my husband too.
