I'd still read them for your character he makes a couple mistakes. No hate on him it was a lot to do but I'd just double check.

Video length on Honda changes was limited, now roof is getting his revenge

A correction: JP's SA3 leaves the opponent FARTHER than before and less plus. It is strictly a nerf. Before, like with Marisa's level 3, JP was left very close to the opponent and could get a ton of oki. In many ways, his level 3 was better than his CA for that reason. Now it's in line with most of the cast in terms of advantage and distance after use.

Im still new to fighting games even with a few years of experience, it can be hard to read the patch and fully know what changes effect the overall game plan so thanks for putting as much info as you could in one video

Not all heroes wear capes! havent watched it yet but you always get me up to date on balance patch changes perfectly. as a visual learner you are a godsend!

i know a lot of people dont play in modern but is also worth noting that there were some changes to modern controls on some characters like manon finally having access to her double kick spacial or juri having her Auto+M be her classic 2MP which she couldnt use dispite being one of her best bottoms

Also, JP can do all versions of his ground spike with the special button (could only do the medium version before), and Gief's forward+Heavy was changed from 6HP to 6 HK (which really increases both his mid-range play and his DP punish potential).

For someone to go through these patch notes in such detail with the inclusion of visual aid is a rarity and should be lauded. Props to you, Rooflemonger for taking the time to put together these super helpful guides. Your dedication and passion speaks for itself in all of your content with these visual guides being the epitome.

Amazing video. Small note about Ryu: his b.hk buff makes it so it's very consistent after od donkey kick, meaning you should always go for it into h.dp for max damage. It's so much better that you can go for b.hk level 1 from the od donkey kick.

Really cool patch notes video. Incredible work as usual! For Gief you can use normal air SPD in more situation. Like you show in the video, jump headbutt into normal air spd is new but there are other situation when normal air spd work now: - after a lv2 super (if the opponent was grounded) - after punsh counter St.HK - after charged jump HK on punish counter. Before we needed OD air spd now its meterless! Other think we can mention is that headbutt being +7 will allow you to naturally combo into hellstab (3mp) no counter hit needed now, which is a huge buff. Another thing I noticed is his overhead on punish counter will push the opponent a bit further which will allow him to be more consistent on a combo afterward (6HK -> 3MP -DR cancel -> St.HK -> OD air spd). In pre patch the St.HK will drop if you were to close to the opponent, here it work everytime. And last thing is the BIGGEST change I notice! Now there is no lack of sound when gief ko with jackhammer! (Seriously it really bothered me pre patch and no one talked about it 😂)
