Bill Burr is from that generation of comedians that somewhat crassly rip on each other to have a good time, and that’s what he does everywhere he goes. Neither X or this guy doesn’t seem to know the first thing about stand up comedy. There are no “victims of roasting” among comics, that’s most of what they do. They literally organize roasts to bust on each other 😂.

There also a thing called reading the room, not everywhere is a comedy stage, but Bill appears to make it so. Bill gets offended when people make jokes about himself, yet does the same thing against others. He seems to not be able to take what he can dish, and has very weird boundaries he sets for himself but ignores for others.

I think a lot of people nowadays are too cynical, take things to heart/too personally and judge others far too quickly. Let me explain because it's in our DNA and our entire human makeup to figure other people out, question whether or not we like them and whether or not they are funny but we've got to a point where we take things too far out of context and too personally. On the other hand however I do understand why people feel this way and I think it's because we live in the "digital-age" and everything we read and watch is so misconstrued and not always truthful. The thing with Bill is that he's very out-spoken and isn't scared to say what's on his mind, some people can't handle that kind of "aggressiveness" or "too the point" kind of personality therefore they see them as bullies or close-minded people when this isn't the case, more often that not you are misinterpreting them and over-thinking your perception of them. Personally I didn't like Bill at first but after watching him perform and doing some podcasts he certainly grows on you, he isn't the nasty, bitter guy you think he is he's just being himself most of the time. When we are ourselves not everybody will like us, it's the sad but truthful reality we live in and we also can't make everyone happy.

I love that everytime Bill Burr is talking to Conan O'Brien he doesn't pull any of this shit. He respects him too much.
