He'll always be Sgt Saunders. We still watch the re runs to this day, Combat!
He was my hero in the 60s when I was kid! The series, combat
Love you Vic... A piece of my life.
Actors who are always in our memory, part of our history.
Thank you creating this, love how expressive his bright blue eyes are. What handsome facial features for an actor. So much articulate intelligence and charm in his voice. Passed way too young and tragic. Love you forever my fellow Aquariuan prince, tough gentleman and hero Vic Morrow. 😍🥰😘🤩🌟✨👑💎⚜️🏆 💪🏻 🎞️ 🎭 📺 🎥 🎬🥹 🩵 🪖

'Combat' was my favorite show as a kid in the 60s. I'd sneak up late at night to watch it. And the Sarge was also my hero as well as Caje, Little John, Kirby, Doc, and Lieutenant Hanley.
Although Vic will always be the most famous sergeant in television history, he played some interesting character roles in movies such as 'The Blackboard Jungle', 1955, 'The Glass House', 1972, 'Posse From Hell', 1961, 'The California Kid', 1974, and ' Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry', 1974. Very memorable movie performances as well as many other tv series appearances, notably an episode of Bonanza titled 'The Avenger'. Such a sad loss of an iconic actor that who knows what else he may have done on the big screen if he wasn't gone so soon. RIP Mr. Morrow, your legend lives on.
VIC MORROW, COMBAT Series Growing Up. My Older Brothers and I, Watched it with my DAD who was a SGT, in the ARMY. First Armored Division. Drove is TANK. He Loved the ARMY and Serving his COUNTRY. THANKS DAD FOR BEING A GREAT DAD. We MISS YOU BAD.
Loved him as Roy Turner in Bad News Bears
Always squad leader Sgt. Chip Saunders. In the excellent episode "Cat & Mouse" , Saunders sarcastically & argumentatively tells self indulged Jenkins (Albert Salami), that prior to the war he was just a shoe clerk.
Greatest "Combat" line ever...Kirby asks Saunders; "How'd we get stuck with these guys?.. and Saunders answers : "How'd I get stuck with you Kirby?"
A good looking guy and just a bit before my time, I only knew him from Combat. He died a stupid and useless death along with two children from a badly planned stunt. Of course no one went to jail or paid a fine, typical Hollywood. RIP Vic.
SURE MOVED HIS EYES ALOT!
