Yes. The OM457 with a Ecolife transmission. They work so incredibly well together. My all time favorite bus.

@@gabrielstravels The 906 is a good engine too! We had 1 of those with a Voith. I believe I'm so fond of the 457 because I grew up with them. :)

Another question, is it just the Euro 5 Facelifts that have been withdrawn? Do you guys in Oslo still have the newer Euro 6 C2 version?

I believe there might be 1 or 2 of them driving around. When a new contract is in place, they replace everything, even though they were purchased 2 years ago. Everything in Oslo now is mostly 2023 Solaris EV's and some Yutong/BYD and MAN Euro 6 Diesel.

@@MercedesCitarobusvideos Seems silly to replace a bus that's only like 3-4 years old tbh. In this sense, Oslo works a bit similar to London (near where I live), except that in London if a route's contract gets lost to another operator, the buses can stay in service until the end of their lives. They just move to different routes

Norway operates a silly tender system, in which the cheapest operator will win, and serve routes for 10 years. New buses every 10 years. These Citaro's pollute too much and has been sent to Eastern Europe, Italy and possibly another country. There are maybe a small handful Euro 5 buses left in the country. I believe every clip in my collection has been uploaded to my channel.
