The Velvet Undeground and Nico - A Symphony Of Sound
Музыка
Movie abouth work and colaboration of Velvet Underground and Nico. This is one of Andy Warhol's 1960s "underground movies" called "The Velvet Underground & Nico: A Symphony Of Sound", which consists of footage of The Velvets having an impromptu jam at Andy Warhol's Factory, New York, in 1966.

He was very a small part of Andy's projects, but a big one in Nico's life. Rest in peace Ari Boulogne. May he rejoin with his mother Nico.

The kind of video that makes anyone think they can start a band. Genious because it is now legendary. I play his song hooky wooky and sing it. It's a mind blow!

Imagine being a 5 yr old kid or whatever age the kid in the film is and be hanging out in Andy Warhol's Factory listening to the Velvet Underground jam & looking at all the freaks that come and go....I wonder what affect that would have on you? or would it have any affect at all?idk never had kids hahaha
YEAH THE VELVET UNDERGROUND YOU ARE THE BEST WE ALL MISS YOU LOU BUT YOUR LEGACY LIVES ON
There's an old saying when it comes to art that you need to learn the rules and then you can break them. The VU learned the rules. The filmmaker (Paul Morrissey) did not.

Absolutely, just imagine Morrissey and Warhol would have taken their "art" a bit more seriously, what amazing footage we could've had on the Velvets. Damn it!

Proto-post-rock.
This is really good. Sounds like a gritty, disgusting jazz track played with sheets of metal. Although the camera man seemed to be struggling for some reason, like as if he was getting jumped as he was filming, the video captures the moment and vibe really well. I wish VU did more music similar to this in the 60s

This is fantastic, I'm in the middle of reading 'up-tight ' the Velvet Underground story, so it coincides perfectly for me at the moment ♡♡♡♡
Nico is just wondering what she's doing with her life

what a late, but wonderful discovery on my 74th b'day! A pure delight. Did the great kid become a musician? Thank you, Lou Reed

on the whole, a cheapo mess, but if you're into experimental film. obscure velvets' jams, or just want to pick up the vibe of a new york now gone, then stick out the dead air for kool musical mand beauty moments.

unfortunate about the focus in-out playing around. Of course the filmmaker never had in mind that 60 years later we might want to see the equipment they were using and how it was all set up. I don't see Lou's brown deluxe, just the silvertone and Cale's vox. Although some of the camera motions are interesting, had the camera been still, we would have learned more
