I really appreciate you doing this reading of Bradbury. It's unnerving how many analogies could be drawn from this story to the technological perils of the modern day, and it's effect on the young adults and children of the current generations. You did a great service to The Veldt, both to the narration and the characters within.
What I love about this story, is just how prophetic it is, essentially with the advent of gen alpha.
I have a reading assignment on the Veldt and the quiz is due on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, I have the book but I like to hear audio books, and Thank You.
Great reading and great story
This was so useful thankyou so much
this felt very predictable but no less chilling... as a pretty much phone addict, i cant put into words how i feel about the parallels to social media in here.... huh
Woah, I remember this being read to us back in like second grade. Weird how I forgot about it until now.
I appreciate you for doing this, Thank you.
Wow. I did not expect that ending..
Omg I just finished the reading these kids are actual maniacs
Thank you so much 🙇 I had a reading assignment but, since English isn't my first language, reading would have taken me days. I get lost between the words while reading in a foreign language... Thank you again!
FWAH
Ty I also have a reading assignment for this tmrw and I love this because it helps me understand the text easier and I can read it quicker. Usually I would end up reading the same bit like 30 times over lol
Thank you 😊😊
The reader sounds like Panam Palmer
