If you feel warm n fuzzy from watching one of my videos please engage :-)
The simple things in life are often the best…like a handful of organic carrots or pulling up the biggest beetroot you have EVER SEEN! I really only want to share my enthusiasm to inspire YOU to get YOUR hands dirty!
I`m enjoying this new series of Weedy`s Garden Walkabout where I am just wandering around the garden from top to bottom sharing all I have learnt these last four seasons…Inspired by my lessons in Permaculture. I hope you enjoy it too. Plenty of tips and tricks and funny little moments.
Heads up for those who are not yet aware of how this all works… If you do watch one of these videos I work hard on to produce, then just by hitting the like button, commenting or sharing it REALLY does help get my work seen by more.
Did you know that if you press the like button under this video, KZread will show it to 10 more people. By commenting, KZread will show it to 100 more people. And if you share it…there is that potential that 100`s of thousands of people will see it. That`s what we want right?
So next time you feel warm n fuzzy from one of my videos please engage :-)

Fun Fact that I learned on my own nature partnership journey: carrots were developed from measly roots into thick and edible human nutrition by selective breeding... but they came in a range of colors, mostly on the beige end, like parsnips. But fairly recent breeding selected for more rich colors and nutrition, like purple! Now, if you ask most anyone, carrots are orange! And the orange carrot was actually bred by a Dutch botanist, in a bid to earn favor from the Dutch nobility (who associate with the color orange, of course)!

Living the dream brother 💚 You are awesome and I am constantly inspired when I watch your videos. Those veggies look perfect to me. I grow on a small allotment plot in the uk and in my own small back garden about 60-70sq m in total, so my babies don't get as much space to spread, but 4 years in I have learnt alot and get a huge abundance from our little patches. Its such a creative process growing a garden. Beautifully and heartwarmingly jealous of your ability to grow mango, pomegranate etc 😍 Hope to visit yourself and Mrs Weedy someday. Still trying to promote your content to our schools. Will keep you posted on progress. Stay epic 💞

Weedy, regarding your comfrey - as it's not always in season, liquidise some in a blender with a little bit of water (to help it puree), then thicken it up again with some oatmeal and freeze it in layers. Then, if somebody has a sprain (or other joint injuries) then wrap the stiff sheet of comfrey around the injury and surround with cling film. What always happens with sprains is that the bone is 'bruised' - meaning that the outer layer becomes kind of like putty - and won't heal until it's solidified again. Comfrey contains phytochemicals, such as allantoin, that speed up the fixing process and also numb the pain.

Hi Mr. Weedy- have you heard of Tera Petra Soil? It was created by the tribes in the Amazon forest. It’s amazing stuff, groups of scientists have tested soils from all over the world and found that the Tera Petra soil was the most fertile soil on earth. It can be replicated too. It’s worth checking out. Happy garden!

Awesome beetroot. You'd have to make a huge burger to fit a good slice of that one! Is your pomegranate tree the same age as the mango? We've got a few pomegranate trees that are 5 or 6 years old and have only had a few tiny, dry fruit on them.

Great video so jealous of how green it is there. I live in arid country we dont get much rain. Anyway just wanted to let you know what i do with my figs. I got some curtain netting cut some square's sewed 3 sides then put it over each fig then put peg to stop them falling of. Birds dont touch them. I find big netting can get messy fly away in the wind and birds can get under neath .

It does not make sense to grow comfrey just for compost. Comfrey takes those minerals from the soil, right? You put comfrey in the compost and use the compost to enrich the soil. It makes sense only if you want to move those minerals from a raised bed to another one. Am I wrong?
