Put some guitar solos in the music and they're instant hits. Such a solid melody and vocals always spot on but the songs miss that little bit of instrumental emotion typically brought in by a solo.

Great music that exists is always hiding behind Taylor Swift, Ke$ha, Lil Wayne, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, and Nikki Minaj. Sometimes what’s pushed onto us is just mindless nonsense holding people back from true greatness. That’s how it was for me discovering Evanescence, Kamelot, Epica, and Within Temptation, and Red. These bands changed my life.

This appeared in my recommendations so I said why not, "click". 5 seconds in im hooked. So10 years in?! I have a lot of catching up to do.

I mean, he wasn't lying lol I am a hiphop/r&b recording artist with mad love for rocknroll music. Actually any genre. Definitely not closed minded lol. But yes, I've listened to all those bands named. Love them. My favorite bands from the rock genre would have to be VRSTY, Issues, Nerv, Happy Hour, & Don Vedda. Check them out!

This video can't get enough thumbs up. I saw these guys at a small bar in WI and it was awesome. Their stage sound is the same as the album and they bring the energy. If you get a chance to see them do it!

This band will unfortunately stay underrated of they cant develop a solid solo interval during their breakdowns. Loved their sound for years but the missing potential solos make it too repetitive. This song was a perfect example.

I unfortunately have to fully 100% agree with you. The image these bands go for ends up taking hold and they ignore the craft of really writing a song with the fullest potential. There's a lot of people doing it right these days for real though. Mumble rap is even good if you're fucked up on drugs tho lol

I like the meaning great lyrics sounds a tad autotuned though

They do an audio layer with the rhythm guitarist to add the effect. It's not autotune. Check out some of there acoustic stuff and you'll see. His voice is chilling.
