his looks at 0:42 are fabulously gorgeous! how does he do it? we could watch him for around 12yrs now but right there in 2019 takes the biscuit. whoever his significant other is I wish them all the happyness in the world and the rest of us can enjoy Colin via his work. we are all blessed he is an actor.

Colin is just so difficult to find u see if u're still alive etc so that makes the bond between u and us more addictive! I bet that's why they canceled merlin, because they knew we will desperately need moree

0:42 wth is happening to me? I see/hear 2019s Colin for 2 seconds and already loose my composure, my nerves, mind and very possible my sanity if I don't start to get a grip on myself very soon. Some time ago I thought it was just an after-effect from 'Merlin' but as time went by and the number of projects he was in grew my reactions to watching/listening to him became more pronounced. Chemical processes are set in motion and I don't welcome the intensity of it on a rational level but are unable to control or suppress them. It's weird and unsettling. He certainly is very special. No other actor had this effect on me before and I'm not a schoolgirl anymore despite sounding like one. Everything I see in this moment (0:42) gets me excited and it drives me crazy. It's worse than ever. I'm not even able to sit through this thing in one go. Any advice on how to break his spell over me because my current state is unhealthy and not sustainable.

it seems it boils down to three options (there may be more) and none of them is pretty. #1: Colin's effect on me has the characteristics of a drug. If I can manage to wean myself off him I should be fine over time. Already forbid YT to show me several clips ever again where the bare thumbnail alone distracted me in unsettling ways. Sitting on some films with him but not watching them for fear of the effects on me. This is highly unsatisfying. And what would the actor think? There is a fan who likes him and his craft but feels compelled to refrain from enjoying it? #2: Meeting him in person and having a chat. Yeah, I know that is highly unlikely in his case. But it helped me before. There was a long-running US show I liked and after 5seasons the writers killed off my favourite character who had similar character traits to Merlin funnily enough. I liked the actor too, maybe not as much as the character but was in a weird state of mind for months. 9months later the Canadian actor attended a convention in London and I went there because of him. Was lucky enough to meet him for four chats over 3 days plus two photo ops. He was very charming and nice and I was cured of whatever mental affliction I was suffering. Some months later the writers found a way to bring his character back (the fans were very vocal) and the world was fine again^^. #3: admitting to myself that I should get a life because apparently I don't have one. Why else would I obsess about an unattainable actor?

@@granville7 Unfortunately it doesn't just happen to you it has become an obsession but I hope that one day it ends and there remains only sympathy for him that will always be there but now it is just love and like you do not know how to get out unfortunately is in my thoughts all day the first just wake up and the last when I fall asleep 😔 I just hope it ends💋

Just finished this audiobook tonight. Colins performance was exceptional! He truly made the story. I would very much like to see him play Jimmy Walker again. The character truly has a heart of gold and you find yourself cheering for him even though he isn’t the main character. Or is he? Yeah the story centered on Harry MacIntosh but it was Morgan’s Jimmy Walker that brought the story together.

I felt exactly the the same, he brought the story alive and I find myself on the edge of my seat the last-hour of the story. His rich , low voice and that Irish accent is mesmerising. I hope Mark Dawson will write more story with Jimmy Walker’s character. I find myself keep going back to hear the story, so far four times already.

@@lydiawoo5188 Check out “The Worldship Humility” by RR Haywood. Colin narrates it and it’s sequel “The Elfor Drop”, I’m on my third listen of WS Humility. Wish there were more titles with Colin Morgan as narrator

@@Okhissa I have just finished listening to the 1st book of the Plantagenets. Colin Morgan told the story With various voices for the different characters, sometimes I am wondering does it come from him? He is that good! I wish I can tell him the joy he gives me.

@@lydiawoo5188 I’ve thought the same thing, like when he is voicing a female character and the accent he uses is so incredibly different than what I’m used to hearing…I’m like ‘No way…. That’s not Morgan’. I have the first few Lion books and there are so many characters I’m trying to not get overwhelmed. I swear, his voice is honey to my ears.

Mona Lisa Mona Lisa he had surgery to pin his ears back. Makes me sad that he felt like he needed to do that, but at the same time - his reasons for doing it arent really my business and if it makes him happier than good for him

Mona Lisa nah sorry! Colin Morgan is a very private person so there aren’t any proper articles on it - which is honestly good because you know ,, let’s respect the man’s privacy haha . But if you look at pictures of him now vs when he was in Merlin is pretty clear he got them pinned.

Audible PLEASE PLEASE could you introduce some diversity into your 'with a free audio book on us' ad voiceovers? I'm soooo sick of hearing that same posh male English accent over and over and over again every day. It's actually succeeded in putting me off ever trying Audible. Please can you mix it up with some regional accents, women's voices, maybe even some international accents? It's far too repetitive and grating, I can't be the only one who thinks this.

@@OtherWorldm plus Colin would probably be appalled by the notion his accent being posh or English. tbh, he is proud of his Irish roots and speaks in an Ulster accent normally. His version of RP is all *but* posh and doesn't even try to be flawless.
