couldn't agree more! all these covers are fantastic. i was just in the doctor's office and heard this song, but it was a different version... looks like cindi lauper might be the original artist.. it was so odd hearing her peppy joyful voice on this song.. but anyway... i've gone on a ramble, haha.

What's worse is that the writers turned Elena getting her memories back into a metaphor about sexual consent but missed the mark because she couldn't give informed consent with her memories gone.

It's really unfortunate that all of the time that elena and damon was talking. She said oh I will love u forever 💗 but yet when he died it was so easy for her to erase her memories of him. THATS NOT A TRUE LOVE ,When things get crazy 😜 🤪 I would think that elena loving damon like she said she did ,Would fight but instead gets rid of her memories. Then stefan tells damon that it was hard for elena with him gone WOW! I like what damon says that it was hard on him to

Not a Delena fan, but throughout this scene I was thinking about Katherine....

He couldn't have just compelled her to stop hurting? I mean damn she erased the good part of Damon. But there love was strong and even with no memories she fell in love with him again. I love these two and the songs that play in their scenes...tvd has the best songs. I've downloaded half of them

This is one of my favorite scenes from the whole show... everything about it is so well done, although I was so mad she was erasing her memory, I still cried like a baby watching this scene

It's sad that we forget the things we love about a person. Theres one ex in particular I remember when I fell in love with her. We had been talking and texting for a while. She was allergic to the sun and couldnt be out for long periods of time. So when I finally met her it was love at first sight. We cried because for that one moment, we felt a love so powerful that it made the world standstill. Though we broke up because of my emotional instability and freakouts I'll never forget clarrissa gonzalez. 😔😭
