The Utility Maximization Rule
This lesson introduces the theory of consumer behavior that says in order to optimize or maximize total happiness or utility, a consumer should purchase goods up to the point where the marginal utility per dollar spent on every good is equal. This "utility maximization rule" of consumption is defined and demonstrated in this lesson

If you had only 14 dollars what products would u have bought?
Perfectly explains that you can't find happiness in material objects, wether it be food, clothes, shoes, cars, houses and the list can ultimately go on for ever. In life you're guaranteed nothing, not even your body. When you go back to Mother Earth and make your transition from life to death, people won't remember you for the things you owned but the person you are. You own nothing when you really think about it. So be good to those around.
What if we had a budget of $6...we would buy one unit of cake and one unit of ice cream, but the MU/P ratios won't be equal in such cases so is it true we can never maximize utility with such a budget?

Interesting question...but I think they'll never give such a number on the test. If such numbers do appear, you can write "utility maximization does not exist" (and there's probably going to be an option for that if such a number appears on the MCQ section).
that was great did it before i died
Where is mathematical derivation
