Poetic Tragedy is a great song, glad that's one of his favourites

All musicians should feel like this about their own art, otherwise we even bother

I can tell you personally that it was awesome watching you live. I remember the show was starting and i was just getting squished between some sweaty dudes and I finally told my brother to pick me up to crowd surf the heck out of there. When I came up in the crowd Bert was right in front of me on stage with his arms wide open. I held my arms out to him as the crowd pushed me forward towards him. But then the damn bouncer in the front tried to grab me and somehow I ended up like a wish bone on his shoulder. Still a great show

Noah Melrose It's so crazy- I just went to see The Used, AND IT WAS ALSO THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!

Poetic Tragedy helped me into writing, still write to this day. This man, and band helped me so much early 2000s and mid. Thanks guy's

this is such a great interview. Bert talks a lot about politics these days, its nice to see him speak from the heart again :)

This is my favourite album by the used as well, I gotta say that I have four favourites but this one stands out a little, although I ain't listened to heartwork yet

i'm happy he choose this. theres nothing wrong with loving your own music. plus the album kicks so much ass so

When your a fan of your own band

"Greener With The Scenary" (actually "greener ..." I've just seen the live show for the first time) and "Noises and kisses" the two tracks never find the live and I think they are as melodic as atemporal and unique, and are never mentioned

but I do not understand this change and obsession in preaching "communism" (with or without quotation marks)

I have to say my favorite albums were the self titled and in love and death I also liked some of their songs from lies for the liars and artwork. By then I was already into the post hardcore genre so I wasn't really listening to alternative music as much but from time to time I go back and give the used a listen.

Great album

This is one of my favorite albums also, I still listen to it almost daily. There's 5 or 6 songs on there that kick ass. I don't like the slower softer songs like poetic tragedy but that's just me
