@SouthernSorcery Yeah definitely, right now though I'm currently slowly getting parts for an Omnath, Locus of Rage deck!

Great video and very well explained. The mana curve this deck tho...looking like the stock market volatile indices. Playing on curve is very important.

With the rocks and reducers you’d be surprised how on curve this deck can be. It’s usually a turn 3-4 explosive turn consistently. But I agree curve is important, especially in WUBRG

Haven't gotten any further so I don't know if he mentions it but dragon broodmother with roaming thrown out is it going to get you one heck of a big boy dragon when your turn rolls around

A combo I like to run in my dragon deck is Standardize then Karrthus.

Have been thinking of giving mtg a go snd love dragons, going to look into making this for my first deck!

Nice tech! I run without tutors in a lower power group. I like Iymrith! On the Afr dragons, I want to try Ebondeath as well for card draw because I run all enchantments that let you draw a card when a creature Etbs. I figured it’s a good way to come back from board wipes in the dragon deck but we shall see if it works or not. I’m already running vesuvan drifter and if I had tutors I would be even higher on that card (great with all ancient dragons)

I’ve seen too many deck tech that I don’t usually like. This is the first one that I do, it feels similar to my deck and all its forms I’ve made and it just feels like a dragon deck where everything else I’ve seen just feels like a combo deck

World Tree + Maskwood Nexus = Playing Every Creature in your deck

Blightsteel will never remain in a grave due to it's own effect of being shuffled back into deck

I run a Ur Dragon deck, my favorite commander hands down...you can take off turn 4 and hard to stop after that.

Morophon + Fist of the Sun = Casting Dragons for Free

Someone with a volo deck stole my Dragonlord Dromoka and copied it twice. After pretending it was over for me I played Karrthus and won that game. Fun times. Also opinion on the Scion of Draco?

Scion of Draco is insane with the guild Leyline it puts its cost down to two instantly and gives every creature on your field all five of his keywords because they all turn all colors.

I actually ended up taking Karthas out of my deck. My meta runs too many clone effects and nothing feel worse than someone cloning your Karthas.

Tiamat’s ability won’t work with the Ur dragon ability because Tiamat is “if you cast” and Ur Dragons ability is “put”

You would cast Tiamat, get the 5 dragons, then move to combat and attack with a dragon, then ur dragon draws a card, then you may put a permanent card from your hand onto the battlefield, which would include any of the 5 dragons you went and got with Tiamat in your first main phase. Cheers! :)

Stubborn denial is decent!

Scourge of Valkas/Dragon tempest+ ancient gold dragon will reliably close out the game when it connects since the dragons see each other on etb.. even if you only start your turn with nothing but tempest on the field, ancient gold will hit for 7 and the on an average roll of roll you will have 10-11 triggers of 11-12 damage each from etb triggers. So 117-132 damage with an average roll. It's disgusting.

why not morophon the boundless and fist of suns then you can cast your dragons for free

I used to run to run both, but truthfully with all the reducers I never have issues casting them and Morophon isn’t a true dragon and it bothered me lol

Any video that says "best" gives me TSX1 vibes, inciting cringe in every fiber of my being... But this was one helluva list! Keep it up!

I got blasted in 4 turns by this deck 😢
