The Untold Story Of Harley Davidson

Harley Davidson is one of the most iconic brands in America. The company was founded in 1901 by 20-year-old William S. Harley and his childhood friend Arthur Davidson. The two young men built their first motorbike in a shed on Milwaukee's north side.
Over the next few years, the duo continued to work on their design, making improvements and eventually creating a motorcycle that was both powerful and stylish. By 1903, they had sold their first three bikes and were in business.
In this video we’re going to take a look how went from a project by two bots in a shed, to the successful company it is today.

The narrated history is pretty good, but lots of photos have nothing to do with Harley-Davidson.

I really liked this. Most people think that the Motor Company produced motorcycles in '03. I know a guy that owns an '05 it is the oldest Harley known to exist. Very well done.

I was set to purchase a Yamaha touring bike. Until I had some time to burn, and walked in to a Harley-Davidson dealership. Immediately I Felt in love with a 2018 road glide. And never looked back 😍

I love the way a big twin sounds with a set of good pipes. And I think it's great they are making new models. I am thinking about getting a pan American. I'm sure alot of people hate them just like they didn't like Vrods. I had a Vrod and loved it.

Anyone else notice that the audio description did not match the video? Also, the Kansas plant closed in 2019. Poor research and production on this video. Love the bike!

The narration is good, but the photos don’t match the time periods you’re talking about.

People bad mouth HD and the Reagan tariff. But the Japanese had a pack with their big 4, that was to sell their bikes to USA for nearly at production cost in an attempt to put HD out of the competition. This was the reason for the tariff, an attempt to 'even the playing field.

My only critique is the pictures and videos of 1980-2000 engines and motorcycles when describing and showing 1920-1940 engines and bikes. They just don’t correlate with each other at all
