The untiring, inspiring, humble hulk, Pieter-Steph du Toit | Use It or Lose It
A farm boy with a heart of gold and the strength of an ox, Pieter-Steph du Toit has quickly become one of SA's favourite rugby sons. Hailing from the picturesque Swartland, the eldest of four brothers, Pieter-Steph lead by example from a young age. Always the hardest worker in any scenario, he's remained humble throughout and never takes shortcuts. This attitude has seen him win the IRB Junior World Championship, the Rugby World Cup, and be named 2019 Men's World Rugby Player of the Year.
JDV and Scalla caught up with the at his family's latest offering, Eight Feet Village. They spoke about his crazy work ethic, injuries, the Lion's Series, playing under pressure, whether his family's wine is better than Scalla's, and a bunch more, and obviously the DHL Bad Jokes Challenge.

Pieter-Steph has an Old Timer’s voice. I really like Scalla. Seems to be a genuine and extremely likable guy.

I'm would love to see the whole show in Afrikaans then with English subtitles. Afrikaners are way more entertaining chatting in their mother tongue. But great show!

What you mentioned about your grandfather and "farm was their gym" - reminded me - Tommie Laubscher was my mom's cousin - he didn't gym either, big part of his strength training was lifting / dragging / whatever 50kg streep sakke on his farm.

Come on guys. We South Africans and we love the show. Explain the questions In English and let the guest answer in English. We dnt all understand Afrikaans. And those fans who ask in Afrikaans have no consideration for the rugby community which is beyond the Afrikaans community. Nowadays Springboks have supporters even in Asian countries. All over the world really. They follow these shows. Let it be the people first not a tribe first. An its up to you Schalk and John to educate the Afrikaans speaking people to move to English like all of us. My mother tongue is Xhosa but I wouldn't want you asking Bongi Mbonambi in Xhosa because the whole world will be watching. Please dnt select the questions of those who insist on asking in Afrikaans. Rugby for all

I actualy agree I am afrikaans, but even in the post and pre match interviews if they ask questions in other languages I wish they had subtitles... So maybe some subs would be great?

I bet they could never play in the NFL and they have those pads on for a reason and u can end ur career on one play. I thought this was real football but it's noway they make more than a NFL player makes. I guess if they grew up watching it, it's what they are used to but if I want to see football, I want to see the best play, they don't mean to hit head to head and wear shorts and u can kick and run and score. It should not be called football, it should be called socer with a football and u can use UR hands and feet, strange
