The Unknown Tekken God: How Arslan Ash Overcame Borders and Legends to Win Evo Japan

Ойындар

The underdog never has it easy.
The odds are always stacked against them, often from birth.

But in the end, when it really matters, they beat those odds.
Arslan Ash came out of nowhere to win Evo Japan. But his underdog story didn’t start with the grand finals.

AK was playing absolutely out of his mind to get to grand finals on winner’s side, and it would’ve been a great underdog story for another underrepresented region, like mentioned. But Arslan was just too good, and he proved that the Evo Japan victory wasn’t a fluke with how he dominated the FT10 sets against the Japanese players.

Two great underdogs, I respect AK cause he's Filipino just like me and I know the Tekken scene over there whenever I visit for vacation, but Arslan was great to watch, making a name for himself. Now it's not always Japan/Korea/USA
