I mean, we exist within the universe, and all things within the universe came *from* the universe. This makes sense, since our bodies are made of and interact with the energies of the universe that we make up.

What this man was talking about is important. In fact, he believes that the molecules from which he is made are eternal because for exemple the water in body after death is evaporated, and it is reused for an infinite cycles. And, the same thing happens with the others types of molecules. However, the question is who created this molecules or this energy as he named it. We can say easily that the essence of the univers is enetgy, but where this energy or power came from.

No the bit I was confused on was when he said 'my waves that I emitt etc are eternal' but who said it was his, as energy is recycled people use energy but don't control it or harness it. Right?

Eternal means no beginning or end. If something is created it has a beginning hence it is not eternal. Allah is the only eternal one, without beginning nor end. Barak Allah feek

god is eternal by his self, it's his attribute, and he will make us last forever in heaven, both body and soul, because he's all power and he do what he wants to do, and that doesn't mean we become like god, and it's not hard for god to make us immortals, just like he created us from nothing, same miracle.

If there have been energy then it would be not forming order it would form disorder according to second law of thermodynamics he ia uaing first law of thermodynamics not the others.simple law of entropy. So there must be an entity on whom the laws of thermodynamics doesn't apply or any physical laws so he is the creator of the physical laws like energy and other things.
