Those who played during his release time has got to know how insane he was, one of the or the most broken units on release. Blud one was one shotting everything with blue card, including Pan and Piccolo death buffs on him hes the clutcher on 1v3's

I remember when this beast first released and I both loved and hated the unit because at the time there was little to no counter to him before other stronger units came and because of that I stopped playing the game until someone strong enough to counter him would come

When UGB came out you could make arguments that beast Gohan was actually better mainly because of his unique gauge. He was the better unit early game which can prove to be decisive for highly aggressive pvp players.
