The Unit has been one of the best talent shows! They really rebooted these idols, gave them helpful critique whilst showing them compassion and motivation when they needed it most and I feel they nurtured each contestant's creativity and gave them important lessons. I love that they highlighted the importance of teamwork and leadership and gave different tasks reflective of the music industry. This episode really shows how the ratings drastically changed - showing that more than talent, having the right song, the performance on the night and also a fanbase are key. I was also able to cry and laugh on this journey with them. I grew even my love and respect for Rain (I had lost some during his military service but he has regained it all and more). I became a fan of mentors Jo Hyunah and Chiyeul (Hyuna and Taemin and other teachers). Thank you. Please continue to support these idols :)

It'd probably be filled with a bunch of newly debuted nugu groups and not seniors who haven't really gotten their break yet. I do hope for a second season too though.

sweetstar 93 They have no chance to be honest even if they miraculously made it to Top 18. You should be thankful ACE Jun didn't make it or else he would have drag Chan down and he also would not have made it. The main reason Chan made it is because all ACE fans concentrate all their votes to him. MixNine is over and ACE Jun didn't make it so all the ACE fans vote and effort all goes to Chan and it pushes him to 9th place. If ACE Jun was there the voting would have been divided and both would have not make it.

MIXNINE...Jun was never on MIXNINE and this is the unit...yea I do get what you mean having fans only focus on one member to increase their chances of getting higher, it's locgical but I don't think we, as fans, should be really "thankful or happy" that Jun didn't make it. Plus I think there were other people voting for chan who weren't Choices. And btw people may misinterpret your comment as a bit rude.

I understad she said that Mixnine is over so the fans can concentrate on Theunit. Also, Jun didnt make it to the final. So the fans (Choices esp) can give all their votes to Chan. Come to think about it, Jun and Chan were never in top10. So fans work really hard so Chan can take place in the final top9. Well, I dont know much. Lets just support Ace no matter what okayyy :)

The support between each other cause theyve gone through the same path, nice editing with less drama, and the envelope to eliminate. This is really family-based program, i love this so much

I really enjoyed this survival show unlike the other show. Always came back as if it doesn’t came out 3 years ago. The Unit really hold a special place in my heart. I hope there’s a second season. It is so much fun/warm watching them.

Kanto was the best rapper there. This is why I hate TV programs that let the fans vote, because it’s obviously biased and geared toward who their faves are as opposed to who actually has more talent. It’s a double edge sword. Smh, he should’ve been up there.

but wtf it's not suppose to be talent show but reboot show it's logical for fans to vote... Everyone has their own agencies, their own groups and trained for years and everyone was probably quite known to public (maybe only Joohyun who is still trainee) even before the Unit. This program is actually great because they gave members from not too popular groups their chance to shine and it help them to get people know more about their group.

AH THE CLIFFHANGER !! I hope Suwoong gets in. He has always been my bias in Boys Republic, been rooting for him the whole show

They hyped up Lee Bolim making 18th place even though she had been around that spot since the start, but I felt they under hyped Dana's announcement who went from 30th place and guaranteed elimination, all the way to 13th place and a spot in the Finals, with one perfect performance. Thats a 17 spot jump, IIRC thats second to only her Matilda mate, Semmi, who jumped 33 spots from 42nd to 9th, with one performance. Those Matilda girls are miracle workers. The Unit shows what it can take for an Idol be successful is simply songs and a concept that actually fits their personalities, and if they are not getting that, their performances suffer and their ranking drops.
