The Unexplained Train Sound Heard Deep in the Pacific (The Train Sound)

What would you do if you heard this sound while swimming in the ocean?
Heard in March of 1997, researchers have dubbed this sound “The Train” due to it’s steady repeating frequency that sounds like a train horn.
What do you think made the noise?

that's the reason why everyone is afraid of this, it's practically impossible, however, the sound was heard clearly, meaning it is probably made by a huge creature, which size is still unknown even after 25 years.

Fun fact: the locomotive in the thumbnail actually suffered a boiler explosion. Also, if i were swimming and heard the whistle like sound, i would swim away from it, thinking it was possibly a ghost train that had fallen into water, and i would probably have a heart attack.

It is entirely possible that could simply just be seismec activity. It does have several fault lines running through it or at the very least nearby it. It does also run from the edge of the oceanic crust through over the pacific plate. However I'm not an expert in tectonic activity

My guess here is that due to the sound waves carrying for hundreds of miles underwater that it is some creature that we have not yet discovered in the seabed of the PO (Pacific Ocean). Or it could be a sound wave of a group of wales making the sound but it sounds so weird because it has traveled possibly hundreds of miles, but I dunno
