there are still few lenses for A7c II that are small, thats why people are interested in it

I have this one and it's low key very good especially for a cinematic look. 2.8 is good enough for this one, still gives amazing bokeh. Still fast enough imo. Especially on a apsc and with bloom filter portraits during golden hour. Love your new camera! And the vintage lenses. That's a good idea thanks for sharing! Happy new year!!!

Happy new year to you as well :) People chase numbers and 1.4 is better than 2.8 for some. But to each his own. I’m very happy with it. The vintage lenses have been very fun and has made going out a little more interesting. Take care 🙏🏻

The bokeh looks amazing, and very easy to achieve a 1.2 look in Camera raw these days, from that 2.8 which already looks amazing

Love the photos - my only suggestion is for the kind of portraits you showed i would've probably stopped down to 5.6 or 8 since depth of field wasn't really a factor in the composition. I learned that the lens is pretty sharp at 2.8 though!

Great video! QQ: how is the autofocus performance on a7cii? Since it’s a 3rd party lens, I wonder if the eye focus is slower than a Sony lens. Thanks!

All I have is third party lenses and these new sigmas pair up perfectly with the AI autofocus. Even with cheap samyang 24mm it never misses. The A7cii has AF down.

yes the autofocus is very very fast suitable for street! especially with the newer autofocus

@@xhynetuseinovski I'm using Sony A7iii, 35 f/1.8, 50 f/2.5, Sigma 85mm f/1.4, and going to replace the A7iii with A7cii too, and I am thinking about replace 85 with this 90mm. f/2.8 is enough for me. Thanks for your video and reply

Okay so I honestly have the perfect video for you. Go back and watch my video on the Yongnuo 85mm. I compare the sony, yongnuo, and viltrox. In summary, the cost to performance ratio, the yongnuo kills everything. I recommend the sigma 90 over the yongnuo if you want top tier build quality and an aperture ring. If not get the yongnuo. It’s newer and better.
