I think the majority of Ipswich fans will be stoked that Argyle stayed up as well. You were fantastic in League one and we were genuinely in recognition of that.

Thank you from a 75 year old Ipswich fan who was at Portman Road for promotion in 1961 and the title in 1962. Lots of fair and intelligent comments from you, and what a season from my fabulous team and club!

QPR fan here and congrats for the promotion. I think everyone not named Norwich and not involved in the automatic race wanted Ipswich to go up. Amazing achievement, you have one heck of a team even if on paper a lot of your players don't seem like world beaters. Luongo for example I remember very well from his QPR days and with us he was an average albeit hardworking midfielder. Special note to your fans too, they were very loud at Loftus Road when we played them earlier in the season.

as a Norwich fan well done always said they are on the journey we were under lambert from league 1 to Premier league in back to back promotions but like us they will see just how massive even competing will be.

As an Ipswich supporter appreciate your comment, and it is even harder now, even since Norwich and Southampton did it, due to the massive financial gap there is now, and we were also dealing with the strongest to ever be relegated from the PL. Leeds fans are bricking it, so Norwich have a chance to beat them, and then in the final, anything can happen.

I lost count how many times we (Norwich) got tonked in the Prem by teams that could create goals from not even half chances. That said, the 3-2 win against Man C was epic.

@thediddymen1408 you will find the fixtures certainly favour the big teams newly promoted teams get a big team in very early then later near the last few months, the big guns grouped very close together it does get very wearing not winning alot but good luck

I’d welcome that, it would be great if Norwich could do it and actually not unrealistic given current form of the four teams concerned.

Thanks for your comments, Ben. Any EFL club that wins promotion deserves respect, whether it be automatic or via play-offs. The transition from League 1 to the Championship is a step; from the Championship to the PL it's a leap. The person or persons deserving most congratulations are whoever decided to appoint McKenna. ITFC was in the wilderness for years but there's a new vibrancy at the club; regardless of how we get on next season, the club has a future.

Cheers Ben. You've been great to listen to all season. Spot on with your analysis. The fans without doubt saved the club when we went to league 1. The new owners and the recruitment of McKenna has been the ingredients for the rising of the Phoenix aka Ipswich Town Football Club!

I’m sorry to leave the Championship knowing I’ll leave your excellent analysis behind but obviously stunned and delighted in equal measure that Ipswich were promoted. What a club. What a manager.

I'm a ipswich fan and this is gonna take some sinking in because we were midtable l1 wondering who and when is gonna get us out just into the play offs we'd have taken we were a joke even hitting 24th l1 never stepping foot inside the p offs for 1 week 21/22 but mckenna worked his magic in 22/23 minimum top 2 but this season u thought 9th just dropping out of p offs at the end. Mark Ashton has been incredible recruiting in difficult circumstances with out the money like the other 3 . Hard work ,belief ,momentum discipline never say die attitude. Every one including fringe ,loan and regulars have given everything. Humility especially when we lost to Maidstone was needed but it bought us time to recover for the league where the others struggled being in the cup after being knocked out we benefited over there tiredness which must have come into it . Ipswich have been consistent losing fewer games and winning the games we needed to at the right time never beating Leeds leicester wba norwich except Southampton twice in the top 6 . All of ipswich can be proud of what they've achieved and won't worry about next seasons as we "trust the process " which as been the one part of the ipswich motto the other one is emblazoned on the shirt color which says "RUNNING TOWARDS ADVERSATY

Have really enjoyed your content this season. I still can’t believe we have done back to back. What a party yesterday was.

Got a soft spot for Ipswich so I'm chuffed for them. As long as they get the summer transfer window right, I can see them holding their own in the Premier League next season.

Congrats Ipswich, so happy to see you go up after a lot of years being mid table in the championship after 2002 (can't imagine what that would've been like for you). Hope to see you stay up next season as a LFC supporter. Also had a player from my country play for Ipswich for a while so I've always had a soft spot for them.

I remember in 2020 playing FIFA 20 career mode with Ipswich in the premier league dreaming about maybe seeing them in the Prem once in my life. It was scary how dead the club how become. I'm so happy to see within a few months I can finally see them compete against the big dogs

Such a well thought through review of the season. Its a remarkable achievement against the parachute teams from last years premier league. I guess thats why a lot of neutrals respect the achievement of this team .8 of the players who played against Exeter at the end of last season in league 1 played today as well. Im not sure if any of the team made the Efl championship team of the season , Ipswich was definitely the strongest team Without the star individuals that Leicester, leeds and Southampton have. You’re right I’m absolutely buzzing! McKenna has completely defied the odds and got a bunch of mid table championship/league one standard players performing like Premier League players. He will go down as one of the all time championship greats!

I agree that it's been one of the most bonkers seasons ever and it's not over yet! Plenty of drama to come in the play offs. Congrats to Ipswich on a remarkable season. I can't lie, I'm jealous - I want my club to be run like that and one day I'll see them back in the top flight. At least we survived relegation after the start we had.

I'm a lifelong Newcastle fan, so I've always had a soft spot for Ipswich because of Sir Bobby Robson. Really glad to see them in the Premier League!

Hi Ben, great VLOGs this year. I can tell you as a 66 yr old the love, frustration, happiness and despair of this game and your team never diminish whoever you support. My first game was Ipswich v Charlton in 1967 and I was enthralled during the Robson era, the FA Cup, UEFA cup many years in Europe, then not so good years until automatic promotion in 1992 under John Lyall and another promotion via the playoffs in 2000 with George Burley. However I have to say the McKenna era is up there with Robson, hard to believe the crowds are bigger now and in League One than his day. George Burley gave us a stunning season in the Premiership, finishing fifth in the first year but then followed relegation the following year. In my view caused by big names on more money causing division in the dressing room from the guys who got us promoted and carried us to fifth. Perhaps a lesson I’m sure Kieron will be aware of. After the wilderness years we are so fortunate to now have great owners once again, another terrific manager (who like Ramsey and Robson) is destined for greater things, plus fantastic supporters. COYB.

Thanks Ben. Am in Dreamland. Not in my wildest dreams could of seen this coming. Just so thankful for the new regime that took over and obviously that includes McKenna. I did think a top half finish was in prospect but not this. Will never forget the ends to the Bristol and Southampton games. The margins in games have been so tight at times. Good luck to the followers who support any the play off teams, and everyone for next season anything can happen in this league!

I think it will be Leeds winning play offs now. Would be nice to see Wba promoted so we can have our big derby next season again. Glad for Ipswich and for Owls survival, Sheffield derby will be interesting. Ben who would you like to see in the championship next season besides Blades? same for League 1 playoffs

I personally thought we would make top 6 easy and my my heart always thought we could get top 2 even before a ball was kicked . Sunderland who went up the year before finished in the play offs and I strongly believe that we went up with a lot strong side . So my thoughts were always top 2 .guess I should have put a bet on lol …..

All the top three could say that i suppose but yes, we (Ipswich) drew the odd game that surprised, also losing that game to Cardiff. Not complaining though, finishing 2nd each year ain’t all bad. Premiership anyone😊

Looking ahead to next season i believe it's going to be extremly tough to survive being involved in the relegation battle . If we can bring in a number of quality players in all positions then hopefully the coach if he stays can mould a squad capable of competing in the top flight . The last 2 seasons have been an incredible achievement for the club , lets see how deep Ashtons pockets are this summer .

Not me I thought a month ago Leicester blew it and U would go up with Leeds,I predicted Ipswich mid table and Norwich to be in the top 6,we did back to back promotions then got a mid table finish with Lambert,but the gap is huge between championship and premiership,U need atleast 4or more top players to compete at that level 🤣🚜💛💚1️⃣5️⃣🐤🏆

Ipswich Town Fan: We went from being a club with no sustainability in the recruitment model under the former owner (Marcus Evans) to a club that has a lot of care and attention to infrastructure and recruitment. I think this is the biggest red flag a team should look at - are you selling players on (regardless of profit) or are they leaving for free. Is the Academy producing any income. If there is no consistency between those two things, then you will be relying on the pockets of an owner to stay solvent and to grow - and it just doesn't work that way. I think when a new board come in and throw around mega money it can be exciting for fans but you have to question when that bubble will burst and hope to heck you're in a better place from where you started. When McKenna came in it was a lot of chatter about Neil Harris (who has done a grand job at Millwall) and then McKenna caught us all be surprise - that state of surprise has been with use ever since. I think we have a good chance of survival next season, especially with points deductions being considered though it will be a very very hard task. One thing McKenna does with ruthless efficiency is ADAPT. We were winning games for fun and ruling the roost in League 1, but in the championship he's managed to play with more caution at time whilst still being competitive and entertaining. The last time we got promoted to the PL, we finished 5th on our maiden season, I can't see that feat being replicated but if anyone in football can upset the odds and do it again - it's Super Kieran McKenna. ========= Thankyou for the kind words and content. I hope your brand continues to thrive and grow as it seems like you're a really nice lad

Hi Ben, if we can hold the core players and add some off the shelf quality players, defenders definitely then we will survive in the Premiership. There are quality players not seen yet, waiting for their time. Sam Morsey has proven time and time that a quality captain can make things happen. Omari has to stay, not sure about Kiefer Moore? Tuanzebe has got better and better. Sad to say Woffey won't make it. He has shown signs of improvement but doesn't see the danger, rarely seen him run. We don't want Williams, a bad penny! Love Clarke, his passion is superb
