Hey guys, for anyone complaining about talking over the video and lowering the audio... we understand and appreciate how crucial the music is to the overall feeling, but music companies are often not kind to reaction videos creators. So we end up having to lower the audio and begin our commentary during the reaction to overpower that music audio in the interest of avoiding issues with music companies. It was either this or we don’t do the reaction at all. Sorry. 😌

That would be great but it's hard to fully appreciate Malayalam movies (especially the classics) if you don't know the language. Subtitles just won't tell the full story because a lot of the slang, comedy, and word play don't have direct translations.

@NB Alex Brando is not a spontaneous actor, he has a method, Mohanlal is natural he doesn't act, he behaves, his nuances are much more subtle than any actor like Brando can pick up, so Brando cannot be compared to Mohanlal, because they are worlds apart in their craft and delivery...

Brando is more expressive and natural than any other actors of that time in Hollywood, but the cameraman didn't utilise that more with close up shots. Brando is a great man because of his realistic approach to acting. You cannot say an actor like him have to pick up something from others, he is a maestro.

Thats mohanlal... His range is different... There are things that mohanlal cant do, which kamal does and mamukka does and vice versa... But still the ease with with mohanlal acts is uncomparrable... Mohanlal, kamalhassan, mamuka has ability to elevate an extra ordinary character to an extraordinary level,, as they are soo gud... But mohanlal is the only mahn who can elevate even an ordinary scene or character to next level.. As dhanush said.. There is a scene in drishyam.. Where he walks to the tea shop.. Anyone can do it.. Boot licking scene was from " Kala pani" movies that was my first movie of Great Mohan lal Sir. You must see that movie to understand his dedication towards acting.

To Jaby's assessment of the boot licking scene.. Yeah, you can wipe it clean and maybe even spray some juice to taste good ,but this was a dirty mud sodden boot of a British Army office that an Indian prisoner had to lick to torture and harass him, not something that he wipes off to convenience.. That's commitment. That's realism. That's Mohanlal. So before you trivialise it, maybe listen to what the actor who was wearing the boots did after the shot.

Actually he don't do movies taking much time. The scenes you guys just saw are really done in such a small time. There is a movie called 'Vaanaprastham' which mohanlal plays a Kadhakali performer( Kathakali is an art form of kerala) , a Kathakali performer actully studies for more than 10 to 20 years to get perfection- but he just did that movie by taking practices for not more than 4 months( not sure but approximately value). So you guys just search about that movie and he won the National Award for best actor. So he don't take much time do a character , I think for playing that kadhakali character he had taken longer time- which is as i said earlier about 4 months. He just plays character at ease. Until 2010 there will be more than 10 movies which will release which Mohanlal as the protagonist. After 2010 maybe 10 or more than 7 that is the range. So he don't take much time to act in movies and prepare for them. There were years which there will be a mohanlal film minimum of 30 above and that to him most appreciated performances. He is just awesome . "If Mohanlal was born on the other part of the world, he would have bagged so many Oscars "- French critic.
